Positive: In late June 2024 my sister and my parents spent five peaceful nights at Villa Emilia (they were in Rottweil for a family wedding). This is a beautifully presented modern apartment with a lovely garden in a quiet residential street. My family had some of the most restful sleeps they have ever had on a holiday, due to the lovely firm mattresses on the beds, and the fact that power-operated shutters on the windows darkened the rooms completely. It was just what they needed after the long flight from Australia. They enjoyed the birds singing in the garden, and the serenity of the setting. The bathroom was very large and modern - with a walk-in shower, a separate enormous bathtub, and a washing machine and dryer (such fantastic amenity and such a bonus). The kitchen had everything they needed in order to prepare a meal effortlessly, and the living area was light-filled with floor to ceiling windows and so very comfortable and relaxing. The crisp white sheets on the beds certainly gave them an experience of luxury. The friendly and gracious hosts were happy to help with any requests at any time of the day and made their stay so easy and comfortable. The apartment was absolutely spotless and fresh and very stylishly furnished - it was so lovely. My family felt completely relaxed there, and they highly recommend staying there if you are looking for a comfortable, quiet, fully self-contained apartment, with the extra bonus of a serene private garden and beautiful hosts to support you throughout your stay. Thankyou Villa Emila from the bottom of my heart.
