Positive: Absolutely gorgeous hotel. I loved the decor. It is so welcoming with the roaring fires and areas to read and play games. My kids loved the pool tables, chess table, shuffle board, and dart board. The rooms were clean and large. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings. In the evenings you could see the hot air balloons floating over the city across the river. The staff also provided cold pitchers of water and cups for your room in the evening. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The location was outside the city center, which made it nice and quiet. It was easy to get Ubers.
Negative: Not all rooms have this, but our rooms had those 90's bubble windows on one wall of the bathroom, which made privacy a little hard. The showers are also a bit tricky.
Summary: Fantastic hotel! A real jewel in Stockholm.

Positive: Very nice and helpful staff. Good restaurant with nice animated atmosphere. Good rooms. Lots to do. And The Millesgården museum literally a stone throw away.
Negative: From the outside the hotel does not look special, but once inside it really is a ****-hotel.

Positive: This hotel is different from the standard chain hotels in the city center. Villa Foresta has real character. It stands out for its lovely atmosphere, super-friendly staff, beautifully designed rooms, several game rooms (pool table, table tennis, etc.), nice sea views, and good restaurants. Altogether, it exceeded my expectations.
