Positive: Great place in the nature, yet close to Galle by tuktuk. I truky enjoy the calm and peace of this place and had my best sleep! The room was amazing and so well designed!! Malik was amazing all the way and was really attentive to any requests. Definitely recommend this place 100%!

Positive: My stay at Villa Gady initially was for one night however I extended my stay for a second night because this is an incredible place. You are welcomed by Melik, the owner, who is authentically kind. My room had it's own private beautiful pool overlooking the jungle, the sky was full of birds, monkeys were in the trees and the room itself was spacious, sparkling clean, the most comfortable bed, fast wifi, a flat screen tv to watch english programs, beautiful shower and in room tea. There is a shared well equipped kitchen (blender for smoothies) and another huge pool. I seriously could have stayed there a month or two. In fact, I plan to return. And if you want the best massage in Sri Lanka Melik is the person. Book this place and stay as long as you can.
Negative: That I could not stay longer because of my flight.

Positive: This a great little secret hotel a little way out of town but easily accessible by tuktuk (use uber to avoid the endless discussions over price and location.) You stay in your personal cabin in a pleasant leafy setting with tiny lizards and morning songbirds in a garden with a nice pool nearby. Malik is a delightful attentive host who likes a chat but is not in the least offended if you tell him it's time to go sightseeing. A great place to stay to escape the crazy expensive (even depressing) tourist trap of the Fort. We would definitely stay again.
Negative: This place is a little out of town but easy to get to by tuk tuk and (once you find it) very comfortable. You really do not have to stay in the Fort!
Summary: Secret location but very comfortable and great value.

Positive: Large and clean cabana-like room, tastefully decorated. Enough room for a coffee table with Benches and plenty of space for the luggage. Comfortable, large bed with well designed mosquito net (the little buggers don’t come until dusk and aren’t a problem if you keep the doors closed at that time). Good curtains to keep the room dark for sleeping. Very smart bathroom solution, the best ever had so far ever: separate rooms for the shower and the toilet, with the sink in the main room. Nice setting on the well kept, walled-in property, almost feels like a mangrove forest. Fairly large pool. Makes you forget you’re close to a bustling city. Not too hard to reach, just 400 m drivable dirt road from a main road. Malik, the owner, is very friendly and communicated promptly via the app or WhatsApp. Breakfast is prepared to your liking and just the right amount so nothing is wasted. AC, fan, TV, hairdryer, coffee/tea maker, toiletries and even an international converter plug… everything you need!

Positive: We had only planned to stay for three nights and then extended it to 10 nights in total. We had the room with private pool and it was really beautiful. It is a very large and clean room and the facilities were perfect. We also found the location pleasantly quiet and idyllic and you can reach the sea in 5-10 minutes by scooter/tuktuk or in Unawatuna with many great restaurants and shops. The owner is a super nice and helpful man. He fulfilled our every wish and took care of our concerns personally. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

Positive: This place is a gem, and I totally recommend it. My kid says it's the best pool we've come across in Sri Lanka this time around :-) big, always clean, and no chlorine smell at all. Plus, our villa had its own private pool upstairs - you can just dive in right after waking up, how cool is that! I had to work a lot, but the electricity and Wi-Fi never failed me. The room had these cute design touches, solid-color bedding, and everything was spotless (even no insects in the room! wow), thanks to the owner's diligence. Actually apart from pools and jungle, host is a real treasure of the place ;-) Super friendly and really nice person, he helped us out a lot, and even taught me to cook sri-lankan food (by the way, if you don't feel like heading into town, you can order local food right there - it's nice). Thanks for all, we'll definitely be coming back here when we return to Sri Lanka

Positive: Wonderful, peaceful place. Private atmosphere (there are only two villas). Newly build. Clean, neat, with AC and mosquito net. The swimming pool is big and clean. One villa has its own private pool on a second level. Very quiet and green surrounding. The host is super friendly and very helpful.
