Positive: An exceptionally beautiful classical villa that you simply don’t want to leave. The villa is full of history, with many original details preserved — such as the ceiling frescoes, the floors, and other features that you can admire for hours. The room is very cozy and clean, and the bathroom is modern, with plenty of towels provided. I would especially like to thank the host, Angela — she is incredibly hospitable, a wonderful conversationalist, helped with a restaurant reservation, gave many useful recommendations, and even assisted with parking the car. I truly look forward to coming back again.

Positive: The property is charming, rooms are very vintage and luxurious, such a nice and new experience in this Villa

Negative: We booked this property for the weekend to attend a wedding on Saturday night. It’s on the more expensive side for that area. We had initially booked and paid for two nights, but due to travel delays, we could only arrive on Saturday afternoon. I informed the host a few days in advance about our delay, hoping they might consider a partial refund or at least show some flexibility, but they didn’t. While I understand that refund policies can be strict, what really disappointed me was that, despite our late arrival and having paid for two nights, we were still required to check out by 10 a.m. on Sunday. That felt quite inflexible and unwelcoming, especially since there isn’t much to do in the area. A late checkout would have been a kind and reasonable gesture.

Positive: We loved everything about our stay: the villa is magnificent and beautifully maintained, the park gorgeous (and with quite some wild rabbits and a few cats), and our hosts were incredibly nice. We had room Clara which is beautiful, spacious and with a lovely view over the park. We also had the pleasure to discuss with Angela about their concept and the history of the villa and appreciated that they wanted to offer their guests an authentic experience. They were also great with advice about the area and helped us with reservations for restaurants and wine tastings. We simply felt at home and didn't want to leave. Further points we appreciated: the breakfast was good, with sufficient options, and they even accommodated us one day when we were inadvertently late (after the kitchen normally closes); you can park for free at the villa in the front yard (enclosed); 6-7 min. from the train station where you have direct trains to Milan and Lecco. The village is also very charming and a few restaurants with delicious food are within walking distance.

Positive: It met our expectations. Villa is very nice, in quiet environment - exactly that we were looking for. The host was very friendly and willing to help. Depending on the side, periodically you will hear the bels of the church, which is on the other side of the road, but it was not disturbing at all, on the contrary - adding some local flavor. A few quite nice restaurants around. If you are looking for very relaxing, non-binding time - this place is for you.

Negative: Not much to say, except maybe to improve breakfast a little, adding some diversity, although in general it was sufficient. And be prepared to drive very carefully, entering the gates from the road, as it is quite narrow.
