Negative: Could have been better access to Ponte Lima restaurants. We stayed in september and some local restaurants were closed.

Positive: Comfortable, clean, spacious very well renovated house with all amenities. Good location assuming you want to visit the region, free parking on-site available. Private garden with pool which we did not use as we were there at Xmas.
Negative: We stayed for Xmas and ran into an issue whereby the heat pump providing space heating and hot water stoped working during the night due to tripping of the current protector. As we did not have access to the technical or facilities room we had to contact the owner whom, on December 25th, responded promptly and satisfactorily resolved the issue. So no harm done except cold house at wake up and cold shower. I don't expect this to be a recurring issue.

Positive: Our host Eduardo was friendly and communicative and met us at the property. It was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need with a lovely outdoor terrace. A real gem and I wish we could have stayed longer than just one night, it would be a great base for exploring the area and relaxing.
