Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Lina’s apartment. She is such a kind and generous host and went out of her way to make our stay so lovely. The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped, and has stunning views of Lake Como. Lina spent lots of time providing suggestions of things to do and how to get there. She printed off bus schedules for us and has a great information book that has ideas for places to visit and the ferry schedule. As Canadians, even though our Italian is not very good and her English is limited, we communicated easily and we had lots of laughs talking through her translation app. Lina also booked us a reservation at Momi, which we highly recommend as the restaurant is right on the lake and the views are spectacular and the food was amazing! We chose to use transit to get around, but if you hire a car, she has a garage right next to the property where you can park. You can tell that Lina is very passionate about Lake Como and this shows in how she treats her guests. The only thing I would suggest is to bring ear plugs, as the road below her can get a bit noisy in the early morning. Luckily we always travel with them, so we were able to have quiet sleeps. The apartment is close to the bus stop, and the Blevio pier, but this is a smaller pier and isn’t visited as often as the other larger towns. On the plus side it’s also much less busy. There is a garage with room for a small car (which we would recommend for the narrow roads around Como) or a scooter.

Summary: There was a wonderful view from the villa and the beautiful garden over the lake. The apartment was very spacy and cosy. It was well equipped with everything we needed, except that one of the ovens did not work. The hostess, Lina, was very friendly and provided a lot of useful information about the area and activities. The only reason why we only give the apartment 4 stars and not 5 is the noisy road, which is located next to the villa. It is most noisy during the daytime. There was a garage, which we could use for our car and bikes. It is, however, quite difficult to get the car in and out of the garage due to the busy road, so we ended up almost not using our car. However, it is easy to get around on bike or by bus. It is also possible to take the ferry from Blevio (not many departures) and Como.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Villa Hortensia. The view is breathtaking and the service excellent: Mrs. Lina even baked a cake for my wife when she heard it was her birthday! Highly recommended.

Summary: This appartment had a very good price-quality rate. The house is spacious enough for 4 people (living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms). The most impressive was the view over the Como lake from the terrace of the appartment! Lina, the host has given us many tourist tips such as best place to take the boat to Belaggio, great restaurants (Momi!), and private boat trip… We had many nice conversations with Lina via her translation app in English. Thank you Lina for your great hospitality!

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at the vila of Lina. She was the best host we could hope for offering many tips on what to do in lake Como and Milan. The villa is very sweet and the view outstanding. She has a beautiful garden where you can sit and relax however if you come in the busy summer month be aware that the road can be quiet noisy but it didn’t bother us and we slept really good.

Summary: We could not have imagined a better stay at Lina’s villa. We traveled for the first time to Lake Como from Philadelphia USA. Linas accommodations were so relaxing with unbelievable views of Lake Como. Lina was such a wonderful hostess and provided many recommendations of different restaurants and places to go see. She went above and beyond in so many ways and helped us with everything we needed. Even with needing to use google translate to communicate we felt such a warm connection with Lina. I will be recommending Linas villa to anyone I know looking to travel to Lake Como. Absolutely would stay here again and again!

Summary: Together with our 3 year old daughter we spent fantastic 1,5 weeks at Lina's beautiful and cosy appartment in Blevio in July 2021. The appartment is lovely decorated, very comfortable, very clean and extremely well equipped. We spent many evenings cooking with the gas oven and enjoying our aperitivo/dinner on the patio - with a stunning view on Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. The panaroma from Lina's place is just breathtaking! Another highlight is the beautiful and well maintained garden that we had exclusively for us. Our daughter loved it to run around, explore, play hide-and-seek and play in the mini-pool we set up. Due to the geography there is a frequented main road directly in front of the house. It didn't really bother us because the appartment and garden are high above the road and things get quiet in the evening (and maybe because we are from Frankfurt and used to way worse traffic ;-)). Thanks to the road it is just a 5-10min drive to downtown Como with the beatiful lake front. Also Bellagio, Torno and other beatiful villages are easy to reach. Lina is an amazing host, always caring and approachable. She provided us with many tipps and recommendations what to see & do before and during our stay at Lake Como. WIth her outstanding Italian hospitality Lina made us feel at home - thank you so much Lina for everything! We truly enjoyed our stay and we would love to come visit you again!

Summary: Lena gave us a very warm welcome upon arrival. She is very friendly, interested, and can be of help to a great variety of questions. Everything is clean and cosy. The appartement served us a great view on the Comomeer. With Como just a few minutes away, for us this location was perfect.
