Positive: Stunning property in a gorgeous location. Our own little slice of Tuscany or provincial France. Akin to a lake Como residence you will feel a James Bond/ George Clooney vibe akin to living out a movie fantasy. Can’t recommend the hospitality and Phil’s attention to detail enough. A very special place worth the destination itself. Great place for a group or an event. Fantastic place for a wedding I imagine. Can’t wait to go back.

Positive: This place was such a beautiful little haven. It is definitely somewhere where you should stay for a while just so that you can properly take it all in. The manager informed us that they were in the process of making improvements.

Negative: I didn't like that we had to leave after only one night.

Positive: The property is absolutely beautiful and very picturesque. I took many lovely photos of the villa and gardens. The room was very well appointed and well set out, the beds were very comfortable. We were lucky enough to have a room with a water and garden view out the French doors onto a small ‘Juliet’ balcony. The lounge and library were lovely, with a fire place in the lounge which was very nice. We didn’t get to use the pool but it looked very inviting and was warm. Not far from Hobart itself so a good option if you don’t want to stay in the city. They have a lovely outdoor patio and indoor dining area.

Negative: We often had to find someone if we needed staff but they were very good once we found them. We can’t comment on breakfast as we don’t bother with breakfast. The dinner menu is good as it’s one price for three courses but the menu is limited, with no vegetarian option and not even a chicken option. The other options did sound nice if you don’t have a problem with eating any kind of meat. The manager did say if we came back to let them know in advance and they’d cater for our needs. If you have a problem with stairs just check in advance how they can help you.
