Private quiet home located near El Yunque National Rainforest. Stunning view of old San Juan and the PR mountains. Private setting overlooking the valley and beaches! Listen to the coqui frogs, enjoy a drink while cooling in the plunge pool. Relax in a hammock, go to Luquillo beach, old San Juan, rent quads or hike the El Yunque. This villa is spectacular with sunsets, large kitchens, deck, patio, bar with pool table, dancing, darts, and other amenities. Enjoy the fruit, pool, bar, and views!
Our private home is in a quiet neighborhood, on 1 acre. Spend a day at Luquillo beach, hike the El Yunque National Rainforest, discover Old San Juan and return to enjoy cooking in the full beautiful kitchen. When the spectacular sunsets, enjoy a cocktail and a game of pool in the bar. You can get away from the hustle of town, but a short drive to lots of tourist activities. We are 40 min from the airport, 15 min to Walmart and other shopping stores. Old San Juan is about an hour(depending on traffic). Beaches are 25-35 minutes. Natural swimming holes and water falls within 5 minutes. There is multiple fruit growing on the property you are welcome to if it is in season, and many other amenities! We have sour sop, bananas, plantain, guava, star fruit, avocados, mandarin, mulberry, and other fruits.
This large home has 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, with an attached separate Casita. Which has its own kitchen, and 1 bedroom that sleeps 2 adults, and a set of bunkbeds best suited for kids or small adults. The entire property is yours!
Included are Roku TV in all bedrooms. Plunge pool, Pool Table, Darts, evening dance lighting in Bar, covered eating outdoor eating area, gas stoves, BBQ and breathtaking views from the decks!
This home is outfitted with automatic genset and a water system that provides plenty of water. However, conservation is encouraged to avoid issues as it is a island!
You can access the whole house, minus the locked office off the master bedroom, and any locked cabinets.
We are not on-site, You may see our property manager or lawn service taking care of things, we are always available for messaging.
This private home is on the boarder or the El Yunque National Rain Forest, away from the hustle and bustle. It is about 15 min to town and the Walmart, very short drive to the forest, approximately 20 miles to San Juan and 30 minutes to spectacular beaches. We recommend stopping and getting most of your groceries on your way to the house. The area is quiet and friendly! You have plenty of Privacy on the property. There is a bakery, Madina's bar and small grocery store about 2 minutes away.
You will need a car to get around, they don’t have a bus system in the area. We have several taxi service number in a book in the house you can call and schedule services.
We have a backup generator. The water system is a combination system reclaiming rain and supplemented by city provided water. There is enough water, however conservation is strongly encouraged to assure during the summer with low rainfall you do not run out. In the very unlikely event this happens contact us and we will work on a solution.

Cancelation Policy- Advertised cancelation policy will be honored with a 10% service fee collected.
Renters/Guests will abide by the following:
No smoking of any kind inside the residence. You may smoke in the outdoor bar area and must dispose of all smoking material in a safe and clean manner.
Complaints by the neighbors or local authorities will be a violation of the rental agreement and could result in immediate removal from the property. These complaints will be evaluated by the property owner and sole determination of removal shall be the property owner’s decision.

If any neighbor reports excessive noise the rental agreement could be terminated, and you will be asked to leave the property. If this occurs, it will result in the loss of your rental amount.
A maximum of 4 visitors are allowed during the day. Any over night visitors must be approved by the owners and will be charged a extra fee. This will only be considered if the home has enough sleeping facilities to accommodate guests.
Guests to the property are responsible for themselves, other registered guests, and any unregistered visitors. The booking guest is responsible for the costs of any damages or complaints that occur while occupying the premises.
Parties are not allowed!
Any small gatherings are restricted to 8 people in total and must comply with all rental agreement terms and house rules.
The house is for guests only, those on the rental agreement, bringing others to the house will result in immediate termination of the rental. The owner may be contacted and arrangements for additional people on the property are at the sole discretion of the landlord.
Disabling of the Alarm, external video cameras or WIFI system will terminate the rental agreement immediately!
Turn pool lights off when not using the pool and other bar lights at night.
If you have children, they must be always supervised. When children are in or near the pool they must always be supervised by a responsible adult!
Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is at 11:00 am no exceptions unless prior approval from the owner.
Excessive intoxication is not allowed!
Forcing entry into locked areas is strictly prohibited.
Parking is allowed in the driveways. No parking is allowed on the street.
The driveway gates will remain closed while on or off the premise unless moving vehicles in or out of the driveway.
Completing the pre check out cleaning is required. All trash will be disposed of in the kitchen trash can or at the StreetSide trash area.
We have a backup generator. Do not attempt to manipulate the generator system or controls in anyway. The water system is a combination system reclaiming rain and supplemented by city provided water. There is enough water, however conservation is strongly encouraged to assure during the summer with low rainfall you do not run out. In the very unlikely event this happens contact us and we will work on a solution.
Please remember to treat our home like it is your own home. When checking out please remember to leave the key and gate opener. There will be a ($200) fee for taking it with you.
Before leaving, pick up the open shared area outside. Stay out of locked areas. Please remember the house is in a neighborhood and be respectful of neighbors.
Pick up after yourself in the bar area, cover the pool table, when you aren't using it, and leave things how you found them..
Turn pool lights off when not using the pool and other bar lights at night.
Turn A/C off when checking out! Also, if you have opened any windows make sure to close them.
Before checking out make sure to do your dishes and put them away. The cleaning fee does not include doing dishes, there will be a $50 fee added for dishes not done.

Summary: Very clean, very spacious, amazing view with covered outdoors areas to enjoy it. Host was very responsive too, which really helped when our flight was delayed by 9 hours and we were arriving at the house at 1am. A/C worked well, which was important for me with a disease that makes me heat intolerant. Bathrooms very nice and obviously remodeled. If you want a relaxing and beautiful place, stay here. Realize however, that it is 30-45 minutes from anything (El Yunque, the beaches, San Juan), but we liked that. We wanted to be in beautiful nature, and driving through the mountains to go places was a plus for us. Listening to the coqui frogs was amazing, and the frogs are literally everywhere on the property. We were able to see them and take close up pictures without disturbing them. All the pictures on the listing showing the interior of the house are accurate, that's exactly what it all looks like. Master bedroom is very spacious. Having a laundry room was a big help too, as the rainforest had definitely muddied our clothes. The plunge pool was clean and a great temperature. It is shallow, which was great for us because there were no worries that my young son needed to be watched all the time.

Summary: Everything was as advertised. We saw lots of fruit on the property, but unfortunately they were not ripe enough to eat while we were there. The island lost power but the house generator kicked on automatically and we had no disruptions. We will not miss the narrow curvey roads. Those were exhausting from the beginning.

Summary: First of all -the view. Paired with the spacious design... you can admire the view from the beautiful living room, from the large porch, from the large patio area, from the little pool. Very well equipped. Good beds. Good AC. Great open spaces. Teenagers loved the casita. Owners are great communicators. No real downsides except maybe paucity of electrical outlets. But the kitchen has many. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Summary: As advertised, and the pictures do not do justice to this beautiful home. We were entirely comfortable staying here for two months. The house heats up during the day but this is easily and quickly controlled by the powerful house air conditioners. After a long hike in El Yunque or relaxing at the beach, the fresh water plunge pool (ambient) helped cool us. The narrow, paved road up to the house, (PR 956), is challenging but do-able with some practice. Once down the mountain, PR 3 and 66 provide convenient access to groceries, fast food, restaurants, beaches and the rainforest. Back at the house, the neighborhood is full of life. During the day, one hears roosters, dogs, cats, doves, and boat-tailed grackles. In the evening, the cars and trucks coming home from work can be noisy, but by 8 PM things have quieted and coqui start singing. Enchanting sound on the enchanted isle.

Summary: The view is unbeatable! Large bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Beautiful indoor kitchen and gathering areas. Meals on the upper outdoor deck were dreamy and the lower patio was made for fun!! Host were awesome to work!!

Summary: Wow! This place was absolutely beautiful! We only stayed for 3 nights but wish we had been there longer. The home is stunning........the views indescribable. From being able to walk the property to pick fruits, the fun lower porch with darts, pool table & party lights! The dipping pool was great, my 6yo granddaughter loved it! Would highly recommend. April the host gave us some great suggestions where we could go for fun with a 6yo. Hope to return to this amazing home. Thanks April!

Summary: Celebrating my 60th birthday in El Yunque rainforest was better than I had hoped it could be! The layout of the home was perfect for our group for both gathering and privacy. The open kitchen, dining, living was awesome for breakfast and lounging. The upstairs deck and view was another fantastic lounging spot, complete with fans. The outside downstairs gathering space needed a little cleaning attention but everything else was very clean and free of pests. The three main bedrooms are in separate areas of the home so privacy, for three traveling couples, exceeded expectations. Overall, a great place with a respondent hostess - we loved it!
