Positive: We were met by Irini’s parents who greeted us with warm smiles, took our limited luggage in, showed us around and explained how things like the security gate worked. Later we discovered they’d left a tasty home cooked Cretan meal on the stove for us to start our evening off, how very kind of them. They brought us various local home made treats during our stay as well - just charming and super fun to meet! The house proved to be very comfortable; well furnished, light and airy with excellent outside spaces to relax in, providing both privacy and shade if needed. The pool was clean, well kept and used many times each day. We were there in the second week of October and had plenty of sunshine with temperatures of 24 - 32deg C during day and 20 deg C at night. It was around 12 deg C in the UK! The villa is very well located for coastal and inland trips to the mountains and beyond and there are good local shops and rural tavernas within easy driving distance. Irini was the perfect host, always easy to contact if needed and she went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you so much, we really appreciated your attention to detail and concern for our happiness. We have stayed in many private villas in different countries and would highly recommend Villa Irini as being one of the very best. Crete is certainly a very interesting island to visit and offers something of everything necessary to satisfy one’s curiosity - 5 stars all round.

Positive: The owners of the villa (Eirini and her parents) were perfect hosts! They welcomed us at the villa and even made us dinner, a traditional Greek dish. During our stay they came by several times to clean the villa and always brought us something homemade and delicious. Eirini provided us with several really good tips for tours and sightseeing. The villa is located ideally for travelling: only a couple of minutes down the mountain to the main highway, from there on you can travel up and down the coast really fast. For shopping we usually went to Perama, which is 4 minutes away, quiet , friendly and has several well stocked supermarkets. The villa is well equiped, airconditioning working and quiet and of course, for the kids, the swimming pool was a huge plus.
Negative: What could be better? Frankly, we can't think of anything. We had a really good time on our holiday and this was in part thanks to the villa.

Positive: We have a fantastic holiday in the villa Irene. Great villa for 2 couples, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, grill, swimming pool, sunbeds, Place where you can enjoy glass of wine or coffee. The owners really care about us. They were more than helpful ( we arrived late at night, and Eirini ( the owner) father still waiting to warmly welcome us. Contact with Eirini was really good from the beginning till we arrived home. Clear messages explaining everything, so we haven't any stress. Eirni parents taking care of us ( bring some traditional food, clean pool, make sure everything is working fine, we have all we need) I really recommend this place for Great Crete vacation.

Positive: Very clean, comfortable, well equipped Villa with a fabulous pool. Our host Eirini was always available to answer any queries or to provide info. Really made us feel welcome, especially with the food and treats on our arrival. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Villa Irene.
