In the heart of the Asolo hills, in a sunny and panoramic location, Villa La Cimetta boasts a private swimming pool, situated in a dominant and enchanting position. It is exposed to full sun, in total privacy, yet not isolated. It features an olive grove that can be accessed by crossing to the bottom of the small, opposite valley, offering a panoramic view of the Monte Grappa massif and, in the distance to the southwest, the iconic Rocca di Asolo.
It is the ideal place for those who love contact with nature, with its silence and sounds, suitable for a rest in the open air, a tea under the trees or an aperitif under the portico at sunset, in the quiet of beautiful and little-known hills like those of Asolo.
At La Cimetta, you can leave behind the hustle and bustle of city life and rediscover a magical dimension of everyday life, undisturbed by noise and night-time lights, where you can escape from the rhythms of everyday life.
La Cimetta offers all the comforts of a cosy and well-maintained home, ready to welcome guests in an intimate and familiar atmosphere, without compromising their habits. First of all, the eating habits are well-suited, as the house has everything: the kitchen is well-equipped with a set of first-rate cooking utensils and a large fireplace with a grill for cooking over the fire. Two sets of crockery and glasses guarantee the pleasure of a simple but elegant table setting, and a table on the veranda allows you to dine alfresco with a view of a natural, unspoilt panorama. The living room, with its large sofa and open fireplace, is the norm on autumn evenings; the house remains available in winter, but under specific conditions.
La Cimetta is for those who want to discover the most attractive part of the Veneto region, close to Venice with its magical charm, and cities such as Padua, Belluno, Vicenza and Verona, all of which can be visited within 60 to 90 minutes by car, with museums, exhibitions, restaurants and excellent shopping facilities. Summary: Very large villa in a nice location, ranging from picturesque to slightly rustic. Lots to do in the surrounding area. Alessandra is a very friendly host; she respected our privacy but provided valuable insider information upon request. A place to return to.

Summary: This was a very disappointing experience. Not only was the house full of mosquitoes (inside and out), but there was no air conditioning making it very difficult to use BOTH inside and outside facilities. Additionally, there were insufficient pillows, scratchy sheets, and a bunk bed that was supposed to open into a full size bed but didn't. But, mostly, the fact that Alessandra CAME INTO the house while we weren't there and called me MULTIPLE times during our vacation to complain about a "deposit" that we didn't owe was the most frustrating part. Finally, we left a day early and let her know this after the first night because of the conditions. She asked us to be out by 9:30 so the cleaning crew could come in. We were gone by 9 and then received MULTIPLE calls from her saying we were very poor guests ! She continued to say w owed her a "deposit" when the house had been paid in full 2 weeks before we came. She never gave us a cost for the additional day after many WELL DOCUMENTED attempts to find out if/how much we owed. Since we did not use the additional night, and we let her know that immediately after the first night, we believe we did not owe her anything else. Overall, the home was unique and in a beautiful location, but I would NOT recommend this VRBO to anyone, especially in the warmer months.

Summary: Beautifully laid out property, has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen. All bedrooms en-suite. Plenty of outdoor seating, by the pool or in the shady loggia. Lovely area, with plenty to do nearby. (The Canova museum and the Brion Tombe especially were highlights). The owner produces her own Prosecco, so booking a tasting is a must. She was away on holiday during our stay but went above and beyond to organise a tasting for us in Venice (where we were staying the week before). She was so helpful, and really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Had a fantastic relaxing time and would thoroughly recommend.

Summary: We had a nice time at La Cimetta. The house is very cozy and nicely decorated, situated in a beautiful area. The pool is large and well-kept. The surroundings provide peace and intimacy. Behind the fence there is a vineyard and an olive grove. We haven't met any other tourists in the area. Nearby (a few minutes by car) there are some very good restaurants where local people eat. The owner is nice and helpful, but in case of any questions / problem, it happened that she did not answer the phone and called back the next day. The wine she produces in her vineyard is worth recommending - we bought several boxes for home. On arrival, we were greeted by the owner and her husband, who seemed dissatisfied with the fact that strangers would be living in his house. We were surprised to have to pay a deposit, which was not included in the announcement on the VRBO portal. In addition, it turned out that we had to pay for the electricity consumed at the end of the stay. Considering the very high price of renting the property, these costs are small, but the surprise was unpleasant. The rental price should take into account the consumption of basic utilities. So far, neither we nor our friends have encountered such a situation in other properties. On the day of departure, it turned out that we have over 80 euro to pay (for 1 week) - it was surprising because we are people who consume electricity economically. The owner quoted 45 cents for 1 kWh, which is probably not a real price. The people who collected the keys from us were very nice, although they did not speak English. They were not prepared to return the deposit, they had no cash with them. We covered the purchase amount of the wine from the deposit. We left 100 euros to cover the electricity costs. The owner promised that she would count the exact amount and return the rest to our account, but so far we have not received any information or refund. It's not about big money, but leaves an unpleasant impression. Due to this the departure was a bit stressful for us. To sum up - the area is beautiful and peaceful, the house is cozy and comfortable with a nice swimming pool, you can eat well in the area. However, a few details need to be fine-tuned in terms of rental costs.

Summary: We had an amazing time in Monfumo. The house and property are kept very nicely. It was so nice to be greeted with fresh flowers and a few essentials. It really felt like a home away from home. The home has unique built in closets and drawers and beautiful wooden arched doorways. The pool was clean and incredibly refreshing. The porches were lovely and accommodating. My only criticism was that the property didn't have air conditioning or fans and the front rooms didn't have screens in the windows. We happened to be there during a heat wave in July, so the temperatures were in the mid 90's all week. While these temperatures are likely atypical, having some fans at the house would be helpful in my opinion. Also to keep cool we opened the windows in the evenings and since the front room had no screens we had mosquitoes and large wasps entering the home. Other than that the home is absolutely delightful! We especially enjoyed using the espresso machine in the mornings and swimming in the pool.

Summary: This property exceeded our expectations (which were pretty high to begin with!). The home itself is lovely, with tasteful furnishings, and everything required for cooking and enjoying as if it were your own, but what we loved most were the grounds themselves, which are not only beautiful, but beautifully maintained. To enter the estate, automatic gates swing open and as you drive up a short shaded lane, you feel you've entered a different world. Afternoons by the pool we tried several of the Cima Del Pomer proceccos--the extra dry, dry, and Brut. All were wonderful, though my wife favored the Brut and the extra dry ranked first in my rankings. Made me yearn for Indian food, which would've been the perfect complement to all three of these wines. My wife was doing research about Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning, who spent extended time in nearby Asolo, which turned out to be a nicely preserved little hill town with excellent food, friendly locals and lots of walking paths. We hiked up to the Venetian-built fortress and were rewarded with spectacular views. Finally, it was especially fun meeting Alessandra and her charming husband and daughter. We dropped by the winery and enjoyed sitting in the kitchen chatting with Alessandra about kids, dogs and Italian politics, which was the perfect way to end a perfect stay.

Summary: After a wonderful week in Venice, my family of four arrived at this incredible gated property in the beautiful hills outside Asolo. We were met by our most gracious and charming host, Alessandra who is a font of knowledge about the whole area. The house is a spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean, and exquisitely decorated country house. The outside is as inviting as the inside with comfortable seating and beautiful views everywhere. Just strolling around the property admiring the views is a treat. You can sit out on the terrace until late into the night reading under the ample lighting. Then in the morning stroll down to the gate and pick up the fresh bread Alessandra has delivered. My teenage boys loved that. The location is perfect for any number of day trips to the fascinating old towns like Bassano del Grappa, Castlefranco, Cittadella, Feltre, etc. or to the Belluno Dolomites or Mt Grappa. And it's basically right next to old town Asolo which is a great place to walk around and have a drink on the terrace of an old castle or a meal in an amazing restaurant-Alessandra knows them all and is happy to help with reservations, suggestions, whatever you need. My only regret is not getting a chance to visit the family winery. Because, last but not least, Alessandra has a line of amazing Prosecco which just happens to be one of my favorite wines. You'll be in good hands and in a great place if you choose to stay here.

Summary: We spent a wonderful week in Monfumo being a group of 6 cyclists who were looking for a region with a nice landscape for cycling, original food and beverages and sightseeing of historic places/ cities nearby. We enjoyed very much our stay at Villa Pomer with uncomplicated hosts which welcomed us warmly and which were caring beyond expectations. The house itself is a former family house in a quite and very nice environment incl. a nice garden, terrace with fire place, pool, jacuzzi and own olive plantation. Small issues were detected during our stay and the hosts were open to improve these for the next guests. Overall a great place to spend holidays and a good starting point to explore the region of Veneto including the Monte Grappa in the north and Treviso in the south.
