Positive: The check-in time at the hotel is until 23.30. We were late, and the girl at the reception waited for us until midnight. She was very nice and polite, it felt like we were welcome. In the morning we realized that we needed a late check-out, and they organized it for us without any problems for a small surcharge. The hotel itself is in a historical building, probably from the 19th century, it is a very atmospheric place.
Negative: The door has glass inserts. They are not transparent, but it still slightly violates the feeling of privacy.

Positive: Villa la Punta is a beautiful building in a phenomenal location. The owner & staff were beyond helpful. Tea is provided all day & a large breakfast is served (we had eggs, local bread, etc). It is located between a very popular area for dining with a large park and the beach with a lovely sidewalk you can stroll for a long, scenic walk.
Negative: Nothing!

Positive: Our stay at Villa La Punta was quiet and wonderful. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. We loved our freshly made breakfast each morning and our proximity to the beach! It was too cold for us to swim but we enjoyed the views. We arrived late but Renato welcomed us all the same and helped us get comfortable after a long day of travelling. The property is in a very quiet and relaxing part of Lima, directly across the street from the Peru Naval Academy. If you want to head to more touristy locations like the Historic Center and Miraflores we recommend you download Cabify and Uber as it makes calling taxis much easier (and is very affordable). There isn’t too much to see around the bnb but there are small markets and restaurants within a few blocks. We loved our stay and would recommend this location to any travelers wishing to get out of the busy downtown of the city. Thank you!!
