Summary: I searched for a beach place that I could bring my whole family. I needed accommodations for us and our children and grandchildren (10 adults, 3 children, and 4 under two) AND I wanted it to be affordable. We sifted through so many options around the world and am so glad we found this place. The Villa has 8 large bedrooms, each with a bathroom attached and all have AC. Our five families each had a room or set of rooms that fit their family perfectly. We loved the pool! It is just right for both small children to play in and adults to lounge in and around. It has partial shade most of the day and is lovely to cool off in before you go to bed. The groundskeeper keeps it very clean. It is not very chlorinated (you can barely smell it) which was nice since our little ones swam in it every day we were there. Bring or buy bug spray because the bugs come out in force as the sun sinks, especially around the pool. We paid a very reasonable fee plus grocery expenses to have a wonderful lady fix us breakfast and dinner. She made us a mix of traditional Jamaican dishes and American food everyday. The kids and a couple of the adults are a bit picky so having pancakes along with the salt fish or mac and cheese along with the curried chicken was just perfect. Our last night there Norman, the owner, got involved and they made us the best Jerk Chicken and festival we have ever had. It was better than what we had at the Glistening Waters restaurant. We all practically licked the dishes clean. Cordell is not only is a marvelous cook but she and Jaday, her assistant, are really beautiful humans. We loved having them with us. They even helped us take family pictures on the beach. The beach! I think it is my new favorite beach. I have been to quite a few around the world. I know having all my children and grandchildren with me on this beach made a big difference, but Duncans Bay Beach is beautifully pristine and we had it all to ourselves. The beach is 0.8miles from the Villa. It has white sand, gentle surf, and a manicured grassy park area nearby. Johnson's pen cave (so cool!) is nearby. Google maps is wrong. It is much closer to the beach than Google shows. Search Duncans Bay Beach and zoom in. Silver Sands Drive ends in a round-about. The 2nd house south of the round-about is the Villa. You drive on bumpy dirt roads surrounded by lush vegetation. Beautiful! We LOVED our stay and the People. I would say more if there was space.

Summary: We loved our stay. The owners were so kind and helpful from the moment that we reserved our stay through to the time we left their bnb to catch our flights home. There were also 4 additional employees that work at the house. They were there to make sure that our stay was wonderful. The house is quite remote. We were happy to pay a small additional fee to have the workers prepare our meals. We really enjoyed homemade Jamaican fare every night for dinner. We also loved the opportunity to get to know each of them. By the time we left We were like long lost friends with the owners and the employees of the house. I would also highly recommend paying to have a driver. There were 12 of us ranging in age from 6 months to 56 years. We were all able to go together in one large van. We had contemplated renting a van and driving ourselves. We are so glad that the owners suggested we get a driver and then recommended one that was just the best!! Duncans Bay beach is just a short walk from the house. We spent several mornings there. Had the beach to ourselves. We also did half day and full day tours that we arranged through our driver. They were wonderful. Norman, Marvalee, Cutie, Dennis and Shatoya THANK YOU so much for working so hard and going out of your way to make sure that our stay was wonderful. We loved our time in Jamaica at your beautiful home.
