Positive: Lovely traditional villa with a great pool and loads of outdoor space, including table tennis and swings and a slide for the kids. Easy (but very steep with steps) access to a supermarket (10 mins walk) and a sandy beach (20 mins).
Negative: The kitchen is quite small and needs some updating. There isn’t an oven indoors, which wasn’t a problem for us as we’re happy to bbq, but might not be for everyone.
Summary: Fantastic for a multiple family get together

Positive: The garden, the terrace , the pool, the sea view,the large rooms,the Spanish feel, the antique furniture.
Negative: The kitchen needed replacing. The oven appeared unusable. The kitchen very small. Not enough cutlery for 8 people.

Positive: Great pool, basic store cupboard provision in kitchen such as salt, pepper and oil, great location. Good air con too.
Negative: Ants in the kitchen and noisy mattress protector - it was like lying on a plastic bag. As we were there for two weeks, we expected a clean and change of towels etc after week 1

Positive: The house exceeded expectations on arrival as there is a view down to the sea, albeit through other houses. The rooms are large and the swimming pool area is excellent. The decor is traditional in style. The air con was good, better in some rooms than others. The kitchen is older but everything was in ok working order. There is plenty outdoor space. We were welcomed in person by a member of the villa company team who was friendly and took payment for the local tax on arrival, best to have cash in hand for this.
Negative: A couple of simple things would make a stay more comfortable such as upgrading the single beds, some more linen like tea towels for the kitchen and shower mats.

Positive: Our family of 4 adults, and 2 children aged 4 and 18 months had a wonderful week here. We were collected from the airport by a company recommended by the hosts. The spacious villa exceeded our expectations. A very big plot surrounded by lush scenery with lovely views. The pool was a good size and very clean and the children loved the swings too. The villa was bigger than we anticipated and had everything we needed with air conditioning in all rooms, comfortable beds and plenty of good quality towels. The host was very helpful and communicated really well. It was a nice personal touch to meet us on arrival and show us round the villa. A travel cot and high chair were provided as we’d requested. We walked to the beach and shops every day, and the area is very pretty. We took a short cut via many steep steps which wasn’t easy with the children but if you’re moderately fit it’s very doable and saves quite a bit of time. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants close by and the supermarket is very well stocked. We enjoyed the tourist train one day - we took the first of the day which was on time but noted that subsequent ones were very much later than expected. An excellent holiday and we hope to be back again soon.
Negative: Nothing really - but a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival would have been a nice touch.
Summary: A great family holiday in a lovely characterful villa close to a pretty beach.
