Positive: Really well equipped kitchen and good water pressure and water temp (things that are very rare in rentals!). Also lots of outdoor seating with options for sitting in shade or sun or by the pool.
Negative: The narrow, twisty roads on the way to the property, but it’s all worth it for the beautiful view from the villa itself!

Positive: Beautiful villa well kept clean and tidy. Pool was a good size and the stone built BBQ was excellent. The outdoor seating area was perfect for the 10 people to eat dinner together in the evening. Only a very short drive (5 mins) into Competa which is a village with plenty of amenities (three supermarkets) to keep you going as well as a couple of bars and restraunts. The owner was in communication frequently to make sure everything was OK which was nice. He even arranged for a minibus taxi to take us to a restraunt and back!!
Negative: The villa missed a couple of items such as BBQ tools oven gloves etc which we purchased and left for the next people but one of the main issues was out of the 7 bedrooms only one had fixed air-conditioning with two more having portable type units. Which is normally fine but as we reached 43 degrees some days the evenings were somewhat uncomfortable for the rooms with only a ceiling fan.

Positive: Great view. I could watch it all day. Good size pool. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of bathrooms.
Negative: Took a bit of finding. The drive way does not say Villa Hugo! When you are tired after a day travelling then this is important. Also Villa Hugo was incorrectly labelled on Google maps so we had a wild goose chase for half an hour.. We corrected this but please check.
