Positive: We stayed one night at Villa Mari on our way to Croatia. The villa is located right by the ski slope with a lift, and in summer it’s a great spot to rent bikes or start hiking trips. The apartment we rented was quite spacious, with a large balcony and a well-equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, so we had a great night’s rest. A special thank you to the lady at the reception, who kindly waited for us with the keys despite our late arrival.

Positive: We paid eighty euros for two persons´ stay, which is not too much.
Negative: The elevator only goes up to third floor. To get to our room we had to climb another set of steep stairs. The bathroom was sub par. It is big, but its amenities are still placed so that they interfere with each other. There is no shower, just a bath tub with no drip barrier or curtain. Tiles are cracked and to get hot water, it needs to run for a couple of minutes.
Summary: Peaceful and relatively cheap, but not very comfortable place to stay.
