Positive: Room was big and beautiful. "Free" minibar was a nice touch in a country & city where everything can be quite expensive. The front desk was super helpful in getting us free transit passes. Bus stops are right outside the property. It's a beautiful walk towards the Verkehrshaus, along the lake.
Negative: Only one a/c floor unit for two rooms. Not ideal but we made it work.

Positive: Pitas quite spacious and comfortable. Appreciated having the kitchen in the basement. Location was great, with a pleasant walk along the lake to get to many of the places of interest.

Positive: It’s a lovely, freestanding building with a nice façade and the back faces the lake. Our room (no. 9) was a loft apartment, on the third floor. It had a balcony with a partial lake view. The room was very spacious with the bed at one end and the bathroom at the other. There was also a sofa, a fridge and minibar (free, and restocked daily), and tea and coffee-making facilities. The room was bright and modern. Self check-in was smooth.
Negative: The property doesn’t have parking in front; you have to leave the car in a car park on a parallel road, which requires payment during working days and Saturday daytime (at time of writing this was CHF15 a day), and which is not as near as it looks because you have to cross the train tracks. Another point is that breakfast was extra, (CHF19 pp), which, because of the high price already paid for the room we felt was rather excessive. Breakfast is not served at the property itself (it has no dining room or reception), but at a sister hotel down the road, the Beau Séjour.

Positive: Well located, next to the beautiful lake and only a short walk or bus ride (free with the visitors pass) to the centre and train station. It was clean and the facilities were modern, and I loved the included mini bar that was stocked up each day! The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast at the neighbouring hotel (19CHF/day) was excellent.
Negative: The self check-in was slightly confusing but the staff were really helpful. Make sure you have a working phone number/SIM card to call them if need be!
