Positive: Breakfast was delicious. We have dietary issues, ie no gluten, no dairy, no grains, and they were sincere and creative in their efforts to provide what we needed, including vegetable soup for breakfast!! We were very grateful.
Negative: The mattress was not great for us.

Negative: In the morning, the neighbour blasted a loud musics as early as 6am. I really dont mind the roosters and birds to wake up to but this, totally put me off.

Positive: I really regret not staying one more night in this beautiful paradise. I wish I booked at least one more night just to enjoy the view of the gardens by the pool and walk around by the rice terraces. Patrick and his team are wonderful. They went beyond any expectations to make our experience special and to care for us. I have a lot of food allergies and needed halal chicken and when I informed them beforehand they prepared delicious breakfast, dinners and even dessert to accommodate our diet. It is in a secluded, quiet village and is a perfect getaway for relaxation.
Negative: Nothing
Summary: The nature is so beautiful it is unreal if you like this kind of quiet scenery

Positive: We loved our stay here. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious. Our room overlooked the lovely pool with views out over the coast and countryside. The location was very peaceful and allowed for a good night sleep. The host Patrick was very friendly and informative. Would definitely stay again. You do need some form of transport to get around we hired one of their scooters.
Negative: We could use the kitchen but it is in need of a good clean.

Positive: Stunning location, really comfortable room, clean and smelt great. Isolated area that makes you feel like you’re in real traditional rural Bali. Patrick was charming, and answered all our questions. We ate at the Villa in the evenings and the food was delicious! We were able to rent mopeds, and get help with attaining a guide to visit Fiji waterfall and the waterslide. We were also assisted with booking transport to Villa Markisa and onto our next location. It was fantastic value for money, and would definitely stay again! Thank you!!
Negative: The only thing we could think of was adding a bath mat into the bathroom. Otherwise, absolutely nothing!

Positive: We originally booked for 7 nights, but we keep extending our stay here. We will sty for 25 days in total. The Guest House feels like home, it has 3 rooms in total, which is perfect. The location is perfect – We have been in Bali for 6 months and this is our favorite place so far. The villa and surroundings are so beautiful, surrounded by mountains, rice fields, rivers and waterfalls. There are shops & restaurants in the village, just 1 km away. The villa is close to some of Bali's most beautiful waterfalls: Sekumpul Waterfall, Fushi Waterfall, & he waterslide. There is also a beautiful hiking trail around the villa, which we have walked several times. The food is delicious: Both breakfast and dinner. Every morning and evening, you can choose to eat in the villa, which we have done every day so far. The food is made with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Breakfast includes bread, fresh pancakes, and homemade jam from different fruits. Lots of fruit. Coffee, tea, juice,.. Sometimes yogurt, bread, eggs,... Dinner is amazing (!always ends with a homemade dessert, such as passion fruit, mango, coconut, and dragon fruit ice creams, as well as chocolate cakes and more. They often surprise you with something extra to taste, like local fruits, snacks, or other treats he picks up at the local market. The pool is great and the garden is beautiful, with plants and flowers, and everything is very well maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious, have good beds, furniture in good condition and plenty of storage space. Also good bathroom: shower has hot water with good water pressure. All listed facilities are available & functioned perfectly: fast WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, scooter rental, laundry service, massages, local guides, and free water, coffee, and tea all day. A must-do: The owners are partner with an association supporting Indonesian children's education. You can visit the association.
Negative: Literally nothing! All was perfect.
Summary: Great experience: We Booked for 7 days. But stayed 3 weeks

Positive: Villa Markisa Pakistan is a great place to enjoy the quiet of a rural mountain village. It's surrounding is beautiful, and the nature is all around you. With a motor bike you can come everywhere, and for longer distances you can hire easily a car with driver. The villa is designed in a modern style, and offers you all the comfort you can wish for. Patrick, the French owner is a perfect host, always willing to help you with everything. Dinner and breakfast are great. As mentioned before: the Villa is a wonderful place to be, for shorter or somewhat longer time.

Negative: The only thing (didn't bother us) is, it is quite remote. Scooter or driver recommended if you want to explore the area. Unless you want to go trekking as there are some excellent treks in the area

Positive: We were pleasantly surprised! It is a remote location, with the most beautiful surrounding views. The hospitality we received from Patrick and his team was just impeccable and the optional meals provided are so incredibly delicious! Considering the remoteness of the location, I would definitely opt in for dinner at the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
Negative: - The room we selected did not have air conditioning which we were not aware of when booking. There is however a fan and as the location is quite high up in the mountains, the temperature is quite mild. -As we were situated in the room close to the front of the property, there is some natural noise in the morning.
Summary: Wonderful hospitality in a remote mountain location with spectacular views!
