Hello ! Still 2 weeks available from 3rd till 18th september. A novelty since 2022 : a brand new high-end reversible air conditioning system with two groups and 5 splits (in each bedroom, living and kitchen, easy to use with 5 remote control). In Périgord, in the Dordogne, land of gastronomy, castles and prehistory, 5 km from Bergerac and 9 km from its international airport (no nuisance for us), a warm personalized and tasty welcome awaits you in our large contemporary house, all on one level, spacious and airy, classified 3 star for 8 persons (+ 1 extra bed possible for a young child or a baby in the parents room, maximum capacity : 9 people). 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 WC (one separate), fully equipped kitchen, heated swimming pool of 50 m² (between 28 ° and 30 ° guaranteed covered by motorized and telescopic high shelter (nice swimming at anytime and any weather and a total security for children), a large covered terrace of 100 m² fully equipped (2 planchas = spanish BBQ, fridge, table, benches and chairs...), many outdoor games (including a pool table, a ping pong table and a table football etc.) in the middle of a large wooded park of 25000 m² without direct vis-à-vis (possibility of naturism) including a private wood and forest lane, a secured belvedere in the trees with swings and a zip wire for the delight of the children. Calm, comfort, peace and privacy guaranteed. Many free services provided : basic groceries, linens (sheets, towels ... Beds are made before your arrival...), library, two TV sets with Canal Satellite decoder (Grand Panorama subscription, over 300 channels) and TNTSat for the second, free WIFI, many board games, baby equipment, picnic supplies, fast and discreet daily maintenance of the pool (15 minutes max, scheduled early in the morning). We live on site in our caravan (see pictures) far from home and out of sight both way, discreet and at your disposal if you ask (have a look at the satellite view...). Summary: We cannot fault this beautiful home. We had the best holiday and the house was absolutely perfect. Jean Louis has made sure that there is everything you could possibly need and more. He was the perfect host and more than helpful- even putting on a special magic show to entertain us all! The grounds and pool are magnificent! Summary: We have recently come back after a weeks holiday and cannot recommend this amazing villa enough! The house has everything (and more) that you could ever need and the pool is incredible! Wonderful temperature and kept so well. The pool cover is a real bonus as it means you can enjoy the pool any time of the day , we loved our night time swims! The outside is beautifully kept, lovely garden and countryside and our children loved the Zip wire and tree house ! Wonderful location to explore the beautiful villages and of course Bergerac. Jean -Louis and Anne-Marie were amazing hosts! So kind and thoughtful and we all absolutely loved the magic show, a real highlight of the holiday! Thank you Jean - Louis and Anne-Marie for having us, we can’t wait to come back next year already! 😊

Summary: This is a great property in a really beautiful, peaceful setting in over 6 acres. Jean-Louis has thought of everything with what is offered but the real star is the large, covered swimming pool. Very clean and warm. Close to Bergerac, with many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.

Summary: We have just returned from a week at the beautiful Villa Melhenga, where hosts Jean-Louis and Anne-Marie were welcoming, thoughtful and so helpful and the “home” even more perfect for us than expected. After a “will we go/ won’t we” couple of months due to the Coronavirus pandemic, needless to say we were so pleased that restrictions were lifted and we were able to enjoy the holiday we’d all been looking forward to so much. Communication with Jean-Louis before our travels was just perfect - patient and informative, we were never under any pressure and he couldn’t have been any more accommodating and kind. The villa itself is spacious and has more than everything you could ever need, the pool (gorgeous temperature) is a real plus and brilliantly maintained. Games galore and beautiful woodland surroundings make this a fun and special place to be for all. The wildlife visiting - red squirrel and birds coming for breakfast and dinner at the kitchen window and lizards and frogs by night - was a pleasure to see. Photos don’t do Villa Melhenga justice - we are delighted we chose this home for a much needed break away. Huge thanks to Jean-Louis and Anne-Marie for their kindness, I would recommend their home to anyone at all looking for relaxed fun in the French sunshine.

Summary: This is our second visit here and it was just as memorable and beautiful as the first. The photos are accurate but when you get there it is even better. The house is in an amazing setting and caters for everything you would need for a perfect holiday. The host, Jean-Louis, is very kind and friendly and happy to make your stay as good as possible. The outdoor area is great with things to keep you entertained whether you are 3 or 42 (our groups age range!) The pool is lovely and a great temperature and the magic show was loved by all!! Thank you Jean-Louis, we hope to see you next year.

Summary: Well what can I say! If we could give 10 stars we would so it has to be 5++. Jean-Louis and Ann-Marie were the most helpful accommodating , and lovely hosts . Letting us use their beautiful maison set in acres of land with so many activities and of course the fantastic swimming pool with cover . We as a family of 9 had an absolutely wonderful stay , and would recommend this adorable place to everyone .The magic show for the kids was amazing Jean-louis. Summary: We stayed for just one week. Greeted by the owner who was very welcoming. The villa was clean and tidy and the fridge were stocked with essentials for our late arrival. Shops were just 15 min drive away, bakers, supermarket and bank all to hand but not too close. Perfect. Would recommend this property without hesitation.

Summary: A most welcoming and accommodating host. A beautiful, well equipped property. A brilliant pool and outside space. We’ve just enjoyed a lovely, relaxing week here; and would love to return. Bergerac is very interesting and lovely to explore, especially the old town. Loads of restaurants, we recommend Le Vin Quatre for that ‘special’ meal. Thank you for everything Jean-Louis.
