Summary: This was our second time staying at Mittermeier. Wonderful staff and just a different feel than a regular hotel: a good one. Due to some overbooking we received an upgraded room and all we can say is wonderful room.

Summary: Excellent location just steps away from walled city of Rothenburg. Lift to rooms also made it much easier with our luggages. Dinner onsite was delicious with interesting fusion flavours. Very comfortable room. Only downside was the weak water pressure.

Summary: After a crazy week at work with world politics involved I just wanted to relax in an idyllic town an hour train ride away. I brought my little dog. I thought I reserved a room with a balcony, nothing crazy excessive, but relaxing and nice. I got in late and was directed to the basement. I didn't want to argue with the desk about it as I was tired...but I was disappointed. The next morning I realized our main room windows looked out onto the back parking lot. I felt like I was in a seedy motel. You can see into the room from outside. The shower was a glass/Plexiglas box in the room- so I'm glad my dog and I are close because you can fully see into the shower as someone is washing. I had to pull the curtains and rig up a system to also not shower in front of the people getting in and out of cars in the parking lot....At least the bed was comfortable. Anyway, I wouldn't stay again next time I visit. Also, "pet friendly" means 30 euro extra a night for your dog and probably a basement room to not mix with the general population. (BTW I might just be a lowly government architect, but I can design a better hotel room in like less than an hour (if you need my help)).

Summary: We were greeted by the staff member who was very sweet and walked us through the lobby and restaurant, as well as the after hours entry just so we could find our way. In addition, it’s a very easy walk to the town center and very convenient. They also provided a treat for my dog which she loved. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return.
