Fabulous villa situated the near the historic town of Atri. This spacious four bedroom villa is renovated and furnished to a high standard whilst retaining a traditional Italian feel. Relax on the sun loungers by the private 10m x 5m pool during the day and watch the sunset with a glass of local wine on the large first floor terrace in the evening. The villa has four large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large terrace on the first floor. Summary: A comfortable house with four bedrooms, excellent choice for our group of three generations. Peaceful and quiet location in the middle of olive groves. The landscapes are even better than in the photos. Good swimming pool, comfortable outdoor areas and terraces. We used the barbeque frequently too. We truly enjoyed our stay. We had some issues with the water at first, but they were not related to the house itself and were solved quite quickly. The owners are very nice and helpful. They provided us a lot of valuable local information (tips for restaurants, shops, places to go etc), which made our holiday even better.

Summary: The pictures do not do this property justice, from the incredible views, to the large and updated accommodations, large refreshing pool and central location, we were extremely satisfied! Great property for those wishing to relax, experience the local culture and spend time at the beach! Note, beaches are a short 10min drive away and are surprisingly wide with soft sand, shallow and warm water. Great for kids!

Summary: Our family had the most enjoyable and relaxing stay at this fabulous villa. We had excellent communication and stellar service the entire time. The information provided before the trip was extremely helpful and allowed us to pre-plan activities, restaurants and day trips making our time there much more relaxing. This was definitely a five star property, with stunning views and a great pool. We especially appreciated the pasta dinner and breakfast items to get us going. The villa was so well stocked. We had everything we needed and more. Check-in/check out was seamless. Tracey met us with the key and a quick tour. She was also able to assist with arranging a local food producers tour which was truly memorable. Manolo was our local guide and is very knowledgeable. He took us to the most incredible places we would not have known about. He will personalize the tour to your interests. If you visit the sheep farm for some cheese making, go hungry. We lost count of how many courses we were served for our lunch! The hospitality was wonderful. We would do this tour again in a heartbeat. We would also choose to stay at this villa again, without question. Everything was so clean and finished to a very high standard. The location was perfect for easy access to the beach and mountains. Atri is only a short drive and well worth the visit. Incredible architecture and rich in history. Chieti was a further drive, but we had a great day out there. Some of the best pizza and gelato around. The local people are so friendly and helpful, we truly enjoyed every moment and cannot wait to visit again. Summary: The villa was everything we expected and more than adequate for a family of 5. The large rooms, huge terraces and great outdoor spaces all made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Kitchen was very well equipped, laundry room is great and there’s even a barbeque to have a go at cooking your own Arrosticini (Abruzzese lamb kebabs). A good TV and wi-fi kept the kids very happy too ! Bedrooms and bathrooms are all large and comfortably appointed, all rooms have terrace access, so lovely to walk out first or last thing and take in the stunning views. The pool was brilliant and we spent hours swimming, splashing and lounging on the comfortable beds. We had no issues with pool cleanliness, as mentioned by previous reviewer; with the pool being thoroughly cleaned twice during our stay and very well maintained. Handovers were easy and straightforward, with the house very clean on arrival. Information about the house and local area is excellent, we followed restaurant recommendations and weren’t ever disappointed. Communication from the owners was also first class. There are great local restaurants within a few kms, plus a brilliant winery down the road, so you really don’t have to go far to enjoy a true taste of Abruzzo and a warm reception from the locals. Atri is a lovely little town and well worth a visit, especially on market day (Monday). Great local produce, good cafes / ice creams and several good value restaurants as well. With the beach at Silvi just down the road and supermarkets and other shops even closer, it really does have everything you could want within a stone’s throw. Overall – fantastic villa with great facilities in an amazing location. We won’t ever forget our sundowners on the terrace taking in the views over the valley ! Highly recommended.

Summary: We rented this property for three weeks in June 2018 and really enjoyed our stay there. We consider this property to be one of the best that we rented in Italy over the years. Our experience of the house was that: - There was excellent communication from the owners during the entire booking process. - We received thorough and detailed information about area and facilities, including an online map identifying the various facilities. - Both the owners and the local caretakers were very friendly and helpful. - A large welcome package of food and drink, with a good variety of quality items, was ready for us upon arrival. - The house was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. - The house is spacious and so allows for privacy when needed for a larger group/family. - The location is excellent for access to both mountains and coast. - The area is delightful, with interesting small towns, wonderful food and wine, and very friendly locals. - There are amazing views from the house, especially while eating meals on patio which overlooks valley. - The bathrooms are a good size, in good condition, are very pleasantly tiled, with the two upstairs having nice spacious and modern showers. - The swimming pool is a good size, and the sunbeds were well maintained. - The mobile network reception was good. - The Wi-Fi was good, except for two of the bedrooms. - The availability of a Smart TV was very helpful, especially by providing access to streamed entertainment services. - The house was very quiet, except there can be some traffic noise heard in the one bedroom that faces the road. We feel that it would add considerably to guest comfort and convenience if: - Any damaged insect screen doors were repaired prior to guest arrival. - There were insect screens on some windows, particularly bathrooms, to permit better ventilation. - There were lower hanger rods in wardrobes, rather than having to use a pole for hanging and retrieving clothing. - There were a coffee table and/or side tables in the lounge, for at least some of the three sofas in that room. - TV channels were checked prior to guest arrival, since we were unable to get a signal for any of the English-language channels that we were assured should have been available. - The bottom of the swimming pool was thoroughly cleaned with every weekly pool maintenance visit, as many insects tend to sink to the bottom and are not easily removed by the guest using the supplied net.
