Positive: My entire family and I were there for the holidays and it was a wonderful location first of all - walking distance to shops and restaurants and such a charming village!! Well appointed kitchens with modern, efficient appliances and all we needed from Moka to teapot! Paola, our hostess, was simply amazing and checked in on us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed which we absolutely did! Finally, comfortable beds with huge fluffy pillows and wonderful linens made this the most restful vacation I have had in ages!! I will most definitely return - I would love to come in the summer when we could make use of the pool!!

Negative: I can’t think of a single negative!

Positive: Very well kept villa with all you need to feel comfortable. Very detailed welcome booklet with all you need to know around the area. And that the village has a couple of restaurants is also great!

Negative: We were travelling with 2 small kids in their strollers and there were very limited options for walks around the house. We almost always needed the car

Positive: Mombaruzzo is perfectly located for wine enthusiasts who want to experience both the classic wines of Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero as well as those from the Monferrato region (some excellent Barbera and lesser known wines including Ruché) but its fantastic Amaretti Morbido are the star attraction (the café around the corner makes the best). The villa is beautiful the appartment is extremely comfortable with a great view over the village. Paola, who lives on site, is very friendly and helpful. There really is very little to fault about the place (see below for nit picking) and it is amazing value for money.

Negative: The pillows are huge - too huge for us. No washing machine. That's all I can come up with.

Summary: Fantastic vfm for a stunning place to stay.

Positive: Beautiful location, very peaceful, excellent food and restaurants close by. Beautiful views, parking, Paola was so helpful and very good at checking in, making sure everything was okay. The kitchen was very well provided with all the tools needed.

Negative: The bed was uncomfortable - very hot and too soft. The sofa was not the most comfortable to relax as a couple together. No English or Italian tv channels - we would have liked to watch the rugby World Cup. The pool was a bit cold for my taste.
