Positive: After booking and prior to arrival, the agents (eTouri) were very attentive and in constant contact with information updates and checks. On arrival, we were met by the villa owner (George) who was so lovely and hospitable and couldn't have done more for us during our stay - including allowing us to stay on after check out as we had a late flight. That made a big difference to our last day and we were very thankful for it.
Negative: George came to the villa to say goodbye and was very keen to know what could be improved. We did mention a couple of pretty minor things which he was straight onto. (One thing we did forget to say was that the sun-loungers could probably do with new covers before next season!)

Positive: Just returned from a wonderful family week at this spacious apartment . We booked because of the outdoor space and certainly we weren’t disappointed ! It really has a lovely location and amazing place to sit outside and watch the sunset . So much space for sun loungers / outside eating and playing table tennis . George the host is so accommodating and his Mum even cooked a lovely moussaka that we enjoyed one evening . We would love to return
Negative: As per other reviews , you don’t get the amazing views without a bit of uphill effort ! We didn’t have a car and enjoyed the challenge of walking up hill with 10litre bottles of water . But taxis are opposite supermarket (15 min walk ) or outside the old town . Prices from 6-8 euros .

Positive: This is the most beautiful villa and George is the most generous host - we particularly loved the Raki and fresh pastries! We were a group of seven adults and spent two wonderful weeks here - it was perfect. There is plenty of indoor space, the bedrooms are large and quiet, the bathrooms have good showers, the air-conditioning works well and the kitchen is very well stocked. It was cleaned twice a week with new linen and towels provided. We were even cooked a traditional Greek supper dish and a beautiful cake by George's mother. What a treat! But outside is where the villa really excels. The garden is large and perfect for relaxing, eating, playing games, BBQing and all the things you could want to do on a peaceful secluded villa holiday. The views across the bay are spectacular with utterly beautiful sunsets every evening. Rethymno Old Town is a 20 minute walk away and is delightful, with an abundance of tavernas, bars and shops. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful which only added to the holiday experience. I couldn't recommend this villa and the area any more strongly!
Negative: The villa is at the top of a hill, hence the fabulous views, but this does mean that the walk from the supermarket and tavernas is back up the steep hill. There are taxis available so it's not impossible, but the hill is worth knowing about! We hadn't planned to, but ended up hiring a car as Rethymno beach is a good half hour walk and while the waters a clear and clean it's quite a busy beach so if you want any more secluded beaches you'll need to be able to drive to them.
Summary: Fabulous villa within walking distance of beautiful Rethymno Old Town. Highly recommend!

Positive: This place is incredible! We loved every second of our stay in Villa Princess, from the minute we got there (which was late 11pm) the host was ready to greet us and do a tour of the house. He also made bread and cheese and we had a toast of Raki with him. The facilities are amazing perfect for a group of friends or family, the pool is amazing great size and clean. So much room outside and the inside is lovely too. We had a late flight and the host let us stay until the taxi collected us which was so kind of him. I cant recommend this villa and the host enough we loved it so so much and would 100% return!
