The Casale Tarugo Montalto is located in the hinterland of Pesaro about 400 meters above sea level in a fenced plot of 8 000 m2. The property is surrounded by sunny hills surrounded by unspoilt nature. The house has two separate apartments (Montalto and Tarugo) each with separate entrances. Distributed on two floors. Montalto on the ground floor and the first floor Tarugo and offers a total of: 3 bedrooms for up to 12 people; 2 kitchens; 3 bathrooms and a spacious lounge equipped with big screen TV, stereo radio / CD player, a pool table, darts and some fitness equipment. For relaxation there is a swimming pool with ecologicher Salzfilerung, a mini-pool with jacuzzi for 4-6 people with panoramic views over the countryside. For our younger guests the play area is equipped with table football, table tennis and mini billiards while other games in the game room of the house are. Ideal for children, families and couples. Pets welcome.

Summary: Our great compliments to Sergio and his hosts Anna and Claudio. What a beautiful location on all aspects. The house is located in the middle of nowhere with a magnificent view of the Marche country side. Long views into the valley and the mountains far away. Absolute privacy and only the crickets break the silence. The house is the most complete we ever had. Pool, jacuzzi, table tennis, pool table, bikes, fitness gear, barbecue, and more and more and more. Everything is in perfect condition. The local hosts Claudio and Anna are super friendly and helpful and made sure the house was super clean. The welcome package was also very friendly. Good beds, complete modern bathrooms, a full kitchen, tables, chairs, sun beds, everything was there. In very good shape. So again thank you Sergio, you did everything you could to make our stay the best. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and anyone else. Arjan and family. PS: I do not recognise me at all in the only negative review here. Do not know what these people are complaining about.

Summary: A big thank you for a great family holiday and first time visitors to Les Marche. Casale is a beautiful house with a fantastic pool and amenities. We love it's isolated location. It is the perfect base from which to explore this wonderful region of Italy. The landscape, the towns, the people, all added to make this a very special holiday for us. We will look forward to returning as soon as we can.

Summary: We came back for the second time in this country house. We had 2 weeks here and found what a central spot the accommodation was to the rest of Marche. It was great to visit Gubbio, Furlo, Acqualagna, Urbino, Pesaro, Fano, Mondavio, Pergola, beaches, but also great to return for a quiet rest. We accessed all the tourist spots and a lot more (Sirolo, Frasassi and San Leo!). The villa (a Marche farm house cleverly and tastefully renovated) is completely private and with lovely views across the valley and the sunsets are beautiful. The pool and hot tub are wonderful either for a relaxing day at the house or to revive you after a day of sight-seeing. There is a barbeque area and beautiful shady areas for eating out or relaxing. It is absolutely perfect for children, our four can't wait to go back next year! Inside the villa there is everything you need to make your stay comfortable (a well equipped kitchen with a oven, microwave, freezer, washing machine, biliard, games, hairdryer, etc). The area around Montalto is lovely and quiet with some very interesting hilly areas, the Marmitte dei Giganti and the nice Fossombrone. We had a wonderful time and I cannot recommend Casale Montalto Tarugo enough. Thank you to Sergio (owner) and to his friends Michela and Davide who made our stay so perfect! Summary: We had a wonderful time at Casale Montalto Tarugo ...the weather was fabulous. And the house itself is so easy to live in - we immediately felt "at home". We had a very relaxing stay in this beautiful rustic Italian villa. A peaceful retreat with stunning views! Thank you for the voluminous information which helped enormously when planning days out. We did manage to drag ourselves away from the house occasionally and would say Mondavio, Urbino and Gubbio were probably our favourites while Fano, Marotta or Torrette di Fano, stylish seaside resorts were our preferred place to enjoy the beach. But without giving up a day of relaxation with the home lawn swing or for a barbecue with friends! Cooking on the BBQ under the oak or in the fantastically equipped kitchen was a pleasure and lounging round the pool a delight! The house has everything to relax with pool, jacuzzi, deck chairs, patio, sofas, beds, table tennis, mountain bikes, etc.etc.. and the location is out of this world! This peaceful retreat is ideal if you really want to escape it all. We're already planning when we're going to come back! We will certainly recommend Casale Montalto Tarugo to our friends. All in all the best house we have stayed in Italy. Highly recommended!

Summary: We spent a most incredible week at Montalto Tarugo, not only because of the magnificent setting with our own 'garden' and extensive views over the Valle Metauro landscape, but for a great sense of calm and relax. Outside the house has a beautiful and large pergola that offers the opportunity to experience great freedom: swimming pool and a wonderful jacuzzi with a suggestive hillside landscape. The accommodation was very spacious, the kitchen beautifully equipped and everything of high quality and spotlessly clean: it is beautifully maintained. There is a truly wonderful attention to every detail and the house has been sensibly and comfortably furnished...Charming houses! The owner (Sergio) has been extremely friendly and helpful! Giancarlo and Patrizia (guardians) were very obliging and carefully! We would not hesitate to recommend it as a holiday destination for anyone appreciating peace, relax and nature. We sincerely hope to be able to return next year. Arrivederci!

Summary: We are a family of three plus two friends and stayed in Casale Tarugo Montalto in July 2013 and had a very nice time. We rented the whole house so we didn’t have to share the outside facilities. We enjoyed the fact that there is no one to be seen around the house, it makes it a very private place. The porch is a wonderful asset of the house. It’s a great area to relax, eat, sit, read, etc. We spent most of our time there and we used the pool and the hot tub a lot. The house is very complete and everything worked. The pictures and description of the house are accurate and the house was clean. We loved the sun flower fields on the hills around the house, they were clouded with butterflies. There is enough to do in the area: we visited Urbino, Mondavio, Pesaro, Fano and Pergola. I’m not a beach person but I really enjoyed visiting the family beaches in Pesaro. The atmosphere was very relaxed and easy going. People were nice. The managers of the house, Patrizia and Giancarlo, are very sympathetic and friendly. The only thing we would have liked in the house are window screens. There are special mosquito lamps in the house and there are fans, but personally we would have preferred screens. On the other hand, the construction of the windows and the shutters seems to make it difficult to install screens. Thanks Sergio for a wonderful stay!
