Positive: We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The hospitality and service were truly at a high level. Philippos was very helpful with our requests for extra items, and he quickly and efficiantly solved an issuewe had caused.
Summary: Overall, we felt warmly welcomded and well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Positive: We had an amazing stay at the villa. Our host Philippos was by far the best host I have ever had. He made sure that we felt welcome right away. There were breakfast items, fruits, drinks, etc. waiting for us when we arrived. His positive energy and attitude made us feel so welcome and excited to stay at this beautiful villa overlooking Heraklion. Felt like we were meeting an old friend! When we checked out he even got us pastries for the road and recommended beaches and restaurants. I wish that all the hosts would take such good care of the guests. Much love Philippos!

Positive: The villa is beautifully located, exceptionally clean, and truly unique – but what made our stay absolutely unforgettable was the outstanding service provided by Philipos. From the very first moment, he welcomed us with such warm energy and a big smile, and was available for us around the clock. He went far beyond what anyone could expect – especially because we were celebrating a friend’s birthday during our stay. Philipos offered to bring cake to the villa, helped us make restaurant reservations, and supported us with every question or request we had. His friendliness, dedication, and care were truly exceptional. I have never experienced such a high level of personal service in any Airbnb before. Thanks to Philipos, we felt completely safe, cared for, and honestly privileged to be guests here. This was a true 5-star experience – thank you, Philipos!

Positive: We loved the space that the villa offered us for our two families of 4! There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and the pool and outdoor areas are fantastic for meals and drinks. The property is located on the top of a beautiful hill with an incredible view of the sea. The villa is around 20 mins from around 10 coves that have the most beautiful clear water. The host Phillipos helped us with a few areas to visit in the area as well as provided us will excellent restraint options in Rogdia and surrounds. You will not regret this villa! It’s beautiful, modern, spacious with everything you could possibly want. You definately need a car to be here though.

Positive: A unique place, with amazing view, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Villa Rodea was equipped with everything needed. Contact with Philippos was on very hight level!!! He knew that we would have a problem buying products for breakfast (because of national holiday), when we arrived home, all the necessary products were already waiting for us in the kitchen 😁 Once we had questions or problems Philippos responded imidietely. Due to that villa Rodea is located hight on hill and the garbage truck doesn't reach that high, trashes need to be thrown in a Rodia Village, but it wasn't a problem for us at all. To sum up, the time spent at the villa Rodea was exceptional, we hope to return there someday.

Positive: The Villa is cozy and lovely decorated. Outside in the backyard there are lots of places where you can sit and relax and see the sunrise or sunset. You can have breakfast or dinner there too. The view is just amazing! There is a small house (a cottage) next to the Villa, super cute! If you don’t need it you still can use the bathroom if the other 2 BR at the Villa are busy. Phillippos was extremely kind and always checking on us in case we needed something. He even texted one last time to make sure we could check in at the airport. Phillippos also gave us super good recommendations to go for dinner in Heraklion. We loved Cretan food!
Negative: When you start going uphills it will take you 15 mins to get to the property so add 15 min to any place you want to go. That is why we decided to go out everyday for our day trip and just come back to sleep because honestly it was kind of far to go to the Villa after the beach to get a shower and go out for dinner again. Our daily plan was beach, sightseeing and dinner and then back to the villa. However, I have to say that on the way to the Villa there are few taverns (about 7/8 mins far from the house). Another thing is the jacuzzi which it is not a Jacuzzi since it is not heated. The Jacuzzi is just a pool with bubbles so in the evening it was imposible to go in cause is freezing and I was really looking fwd to get in after a day at the beach and see the night view from there (sadly we couldn’t do it). This was very disappointing. Besides there are - lot of bugs around the pool like ants and wasps but the place is sorrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. All depends on what you want. If you are dreaming about having a breathtaking view and just chill out at the Villa then you should go for this place. You won’t regret.

Positive: The house is truly amazing. Great views, it's in the mountain, so it's a bit more chilly than downtown, which is great for the summer. The pool is really clean, and the host was very helpful.
Negative: The car rental service offered was not at the same level as the house. We paid for a high-end car, that we expected to be in line with the house, and be adapted to the steep road leading up to it. Sadly, the car was old and not very fitting to the roads we had the drive. Other than that, everything was perfect. I would recommend looking for a car on your own.

Positive: The location of the villa was great with an unbeleaveble view including the sunrise in the morning. We were welcomed to the villa by Giannis, at first site we realized that in reality the villa is amazing in so many ways that the pictures in booking cannot show. The villa was equipped including a fully equipped kitchen at the highest level. We were surprised to find that Giannis prepared a basket full of goodies and treats for us, not to mention the refrigerator which was also full of basic groceries and beyond. Throughout our stay there was nothing missing in the villa and Giannis was in constant contact with us, took care of our requests and even warmly recommended places to hang out. There is no doubt that the villa was above and beyond our expectations. The hosts and the villa are amazing, we will be back!!!!
