Positive: Hedris was an amazing manager who helped us from day 1 til we left the villa. He got us scooters and got it delivered to the villa and gave us many amazing recommendations. He does a great job!

Positive: We had a lovely four-night stay at Villa Svalen. First off, the staff was amazing—so kind and supportive. They really went out of their way to help us, organizing scooters and making sure we were comfortable. The villa itself is beautiful, sitting high on a hill with incredible views. From the pool, you can look out over Tanjung An bay and even catch a glimpse of Gerupuk bay. The setting is so peaceful, and the view from the pool is truly spectacular. We also loved the spacious layout and the unique architecture of the house. That said, some things could be improved. While the villa isn’t very old, parts of the kitchen and the outdoor spaces felt a bit worn down. The garden also seemed unfinished, and overall, it felt like there was a lack of attention to quality, especially for the price. It’s definitely more about space than quality and detail. Also it is not possible to cool the house down, as it has a lot of open spaces. It’s also worth mentioning that the villa is quite remote, so a scooter is a must. Dining options nearby are very limited—thankfully, The Dome restaurant next door was a lifesaver for us, and we ate there a lot.

Positive: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Svalen and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa itself is beautifully designed, blending modern luxury with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The spacious rooms were impeccably clean and decorated with exquisite attention to detail. The outdoor area, complete with a stunning pool and lush gardens, was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. The views were absolutely breathtaking, making every moment feel like a postcard. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, Mas Herdis ensuring that our every need was met without being intrusive. He took care of our laundry and picked up my call at any time. Overall, this villa is a hidden gem that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. I can’t wait to return!

Positive: Epic pool, amazing kitchen, great bathrooms..Views for days but what topped the cake was a man called Herdis. Herdis is an upgraded version of Jeeves but in real life..he arranged for us multiple trips at amazing prices and took care of every possible wish within hours whether it be an impromptu snorkeling trip to a vehicle rental. The infinity was to die for and the flora and fauna were amazing..
Negative: Be warned about the mosquitoes and bring plenty of mosquito defense items like coils, repellants etc. Not many food options nearby apart from Uncle Fin’s but great food available within 15 min drive.
