Positive: The hosts were so lovely and welcoming. They helped us with great recommendations for Curacao and brought us snacks and icecream to the pool. They even offered us a ride back from the car rental branch. Our room was nicely decorated with great interior design and very spacious. It had a balcony with a great view over the garden and the pool. Also parking was very easy.
Negative: AC not in every room (only the bedroom had it, which was most important, but also bathroom would have been nice)

Positive: What a wonderful stay at a wonderful property, full of charm. I always carefully select my hotels and was quite glad about my correct choice. The location is fabulous - surrounded by nice restaurants, within walkable distance to the center - and very quiet. I love the personal attitude and I receive it here. Highly recommended!

Positive: Excellent location and very nice design, close to a lot of restaurants and the city center. It was also very quite and peaceful.
Negative: There was absolutely no cold water in my room, only super hot water, which made the heat even more unbearable. The air conditioning was only present in the bedroom, the bathroom was very warm and the hot shower didn't help. I am not sure I enjoyed not having a full time receptionist, whenever I had a question I had to text them on whatsapp, and then it took time to get a response.

Positive: The staff were super friendly and very helpful, giving great recommendations for beautiful beaches (Playa Kalki and Cas Abao beaches were our favourites!). The parking facilities were great and the location of the hotel was ideal as there was a lot of construction happening closer to Willemstad, but we were far enough away that we didn't hear any noise during the day. There are also some excellent restaurants within walking distance. We also loved the hotel cat Gordo, who was very sweet!
Negative: As our room was practically in the hotel foyer, from 8am (when staff arrived), conversations/check ins between staff and guests could be heard in their entirety and would wake us up if we were trying to sleep in. They were not being particularly loud either, just talking at normal volumes. Additionally, as our bed was two single mattresses covered with a king sheet, we kept falling down the middle of the bed so sadly didn't sleep well during our stay. That being said, we had a lovely stay and these things didn't ruin our trip.
Summary: Lovely hotel and staff, would stay again.

Negative: We had a room called a loft. We realized on arrival this meant bedroom up a loft stairs with no rail and return down backwards. Bathroom on the lower floor. Staff set up a bed on lower floor for us 🙏

Positive: Room was attractive and provided seating, frig, safe, tv, limited clothing storage. Clean pool with ample seating, limited shade. Several good restaurants in area. Resort within 100yds where you could dine with ocean view. A day pass could be purchased for beach use. Within walking distance to town.
Negative: Room was off hot, stuffy lobby with no exterior view or access to outside. Staff available from 8-11am and marginally helpful. I had to insist repeatedly that no, truly, I had no handsoap or pool towels before they were brought to me. Initial check-in very confusing. Told to give arrival time and push button so gate would be opened. But no one there to open gate. Subsequent guests had same frustrating experience. Locking of gates apparently up to guests.
