Positive: Everything was even better than expected! The cabin is very roomy, everything was provided for, the nearby forests were amazing. Easy to find, but do double check that your postal code in the navigator is correct, as there are several roads with the same name within 100-150km radius with similar postal codes ;) Ask me how I learned that, ha ha! Complete silence at night, most peaceful and beautiful location at a hilly lakeside. The buildings were all in our private use, all in excellent condition, and we tried out everything, from cooking on open fire to sauna and the gym. The beds were just perfect in hardiness. Hot water was perfectly enough for two at least, and we did not need to wait for it much at all. Water quality was also good, and had no side tastes at all, perfectly OK for drinking. Kitchen was better equipped than most cabins, allowing us to prepare wonderful meals. And the hosts are just SUPERB, extremely friendly and quick to answer, amazingly hospitable. Thank you so much for trusting us with your beautiful cottage. We had such a good time and would love to revisit. Big plus for the yard, the car could be parked literally centimeters away from the front door.

Positive: Beautiful location on the lake shore, well built cottage, the whole villa and side buildings all for us privately. Clean.
Negative: Be very careful when writing the address into your navigator - Ritoniementie nro xxx in Sulkava, postal code 58610. Because my booking gave the address as Savonlinna, which is wrong, and I didn't check the postal code on my navigator screen. There exists a road with the exact same name in Savonlinna (and different postal code), so I found myself at the end of a narrow road in the middle of the forest, in the opposite direction, which meant 150 km and two hours extra drive. The cottage is evidently also used by the owner, as it is full of personal decoration items. No WiFi nor TV, which is ok for most weekend holidays.
Summary: A lovely lake cottage, but beware the address is Sulkava, not Savonlinna
