Summary: The villa at Trecastagni exceeded our expectations. We were two families including four adults and seven children. The house was big and had enough bedrooms and beds. There is a big yard and several porches where the kids played. We loved the place and we all were happy to return to it after each day trip. We bought food in a supermarket and cooked in the kitchen. Lorenzo and Nuccia were great and even helped us with paying the parking ticket we received. The place has parking for two cars in the property. I definitely recommend this place to a large group who wants to tour Sicily.

Summary: "I highly recommend this propery for people who like quite places and a bit of driving. The village is located in a perfect position to discover Etna, Catania, Taormina. Very very good local restaurants in surrandings. The owners are wonderful and very helpful people. It was one of the best holidays I've made."

Summary: "The accommodation was perfect. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very peaceful. The gardens were large and beautiful and our 3 boys spent all their time out there. They especially loved eating the cherries off the tree. The owners, Lorenzo and Nuccia were charming and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation gave us all we needed and more (including stunning views of Mount Etna)."

Summary: "For anyone who has ever dreamt of a holiday villa in the Italian countryside, Villa Marotta will not disappoint. The beautiful pink stone house is surrounded by an exquisitely maintained garden of roses, wisteria, lemon and palm trees. We stayed in May, and the air was filled with floral scents and birdsong, and the garden offered great views of Mt. Etna. The village of Trecastagni is only minutes away, and has a beautiful palm-shaded piazza, perfect for enjoying a gelato on warm night. Trecastagni is also a terrific jumping off point for exploring Ionian Sicily, including the Taormina, about 30 minutes away by car. Lorenzo greeted us with a bottle of red wine, and he and his wife were kind and accomodating. They provided us with a crib and high chair for our two year old daughter, and tricycle for our four year old son to ride on the sunny terrace. In sum, a wonderful and peaceful vacation spot."
