Villaplatamona is an exclusive villa on the seashore of the Gulf of Asinara inside a residence on the Platamona coast. Immersed in a 700 square meter garden of junipers and Mediterranean essences, Villaplatamona is spread over 150 square meters on two floors plus a spectacular terrace which dominates the entire Gulf.
The extreme comfort of the villa equipped with furnishings and elegant finishes and the strategic position in the Gulf of Asinara allow you to enjoy a true experience of the most authentic Sardinia.
The villa has private parking with access through an electric gate on the same property. From the garden and from the veranda on the entrance side (where there is a lounge for evening relaxation) you enter the ground floor: Villaplatamona has a large room, a kitchen with living room, a bathroom and a covered veranda.
The three spacious, comfortable and air-conditioned bedrooms are on the first floor and two of these have access to a terrace overlooking the sea, the main bathroom is comfortable with a large shower cubicle, the other bathroom on the ground floor is small but functional.
The garden has a covered veranda for breakfasts, lunches and dinners surrounded by nature, a patio / solarium where you can relax and a barbecue complete with sink where you can prepare and roast food in comfort and safety. There is also an outdoor covered shower.
The beach is free and not overly frequented. Villaplatamona offers umbrella, chairs and beach towels to enjoy the beach without worries and masks and snorkels for snorkeling in the sea.
Villaplatamona is inside the Platamona Residence where access or parking is not allowed except to the owners and their guests (to guarantee safety and order).
In front of the Residence there is a supermarket open in summer and a bar-restaurant and pizzeria. There is also a public bus stop that connects it to the city of Sassari and the coast.
Villaplatamona is a few hundred meters from the Stagno di Platamona, a nature trail for birdwatching and running, a few km from the port city of Porto Torres, less than an hour's drive from the beautiful beaches of Alghero (and its airport) , the wonderful Stintino, Castelsardo and the whole coast of the Asinara Gulf.
Villaplatamona is the ideal place for lovers of relaxation literally on the sea but also as a starting point to visit the enchanting places, the cultural and food and wine attractions that north-western Sardinia offers.

Summary: This is more than a house, it's an entire property that is basically oceanfront. The house is on the front row from the beach so the back garden backs up to the private neighborhood beach that isn't more than 30 steps from the gate. Driving up to this villa in a gated community, it screams an authentic Italian feeling. The villa boasts so much outdoor space that we hardly spent any time indoors, it's well-kept and beautiful. Carla and Gianluigi are the kindest hosts, not only did they stay up late to accommodate our check-in time, but they left us a basket of local goodies and a recipe to follow, which we did and my entire family loved it. They checked on us and gave us so many incredible recommendations. This property made our entire trip! I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience.

Summary: We wish to thank Carla and Gianluigi for a wonderful stay at Villa Platamona! From the first contact during the booking process to the cordial goodbye, we felt as very welcome. Gianluigi was perfect with very prompt replies to our questions. When we arrived at the property, the house was perfectly clean. Carla and Gianluigi were wonderful hosts, who had prepared a welcome basket with specialties from Sardinia for us. The house is as shown on the fotos - even more spacious, in an excellent state. There are three equally large bedrooms, all on the first floor, beds and mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. The roof terrace is a real highlight with a splendid panoramic view on the Asinara Sea and unforgettable sunsets. The terrace on the ground floor is large and the garden well tended. Not to forget the best thing: the very large beach is definitely not more than 70 steps away, using a small path starting from the garden. A garden shower (warm and cold water!) helps to get rid of the sand. You will reach Villa Platamona by car (in our case from Olbia airport a 1.5 hrs drive) passing a guarded entrance; the villa itself has an automatic gateway. Many wonderful places such as Alghero and Sassari and many more can be reached easily. In brief, this is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday in wonderful Sardinia.

Summary: We enjoyed a relaxing holiday in a great house and garden with everything required to make the time perfect. We especially enjoyed the great view from the roof terrace ans the direct access to the beach.The sights to visit as well as the boat tours provided lots of entertainment. A special thanks to the great hosts that were supportive whenever we had questions. The welcome basket was a great surprise and it was filled with everything you could whish for.

Summary: If you come to Sardinia mainly to enjoy beach relax, look no further. This is absolutelly fantastic location, just next to the beach. Villa Platamona is located within a guarded residence, which prevents unathorized people to access the residence. It means that the beach is never overcrowded even in the peak season. The beach is very clean, 50 meters from the property. The villa itself is in excellent shape, very well maintained, equiped and designed. It has a fantastic roof terace overlooking the sea, there is a garden with BBQ place, outside seating. There is nothing short of perfect. It has been our best visit in Sardinia out of four times we went there.
