Summary: A quaint lodge in a beautiful and secluded setting in the Waimauku countryside. The property has everything you could need and the breakfast food provided was great. It was clean and quiet and only a 5 minute drive from the nearest town. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Surprisingly great cottage accommodation near Auckland. Could be good for an extended stay, but we had only the one night. The property is in a recessed gully on the land, so suffers from poor mobile connectivity, and the on-site WiFi was no better in the specific cottage we had -- wouldn't do for us for a longer stay. Some of the other units (opposite side of the gully) may have better reception. Hosts were great, and we have only praise for everything else but the lack of decent internet.

Summary: We loved the authenticity and cosy bed and fire. We felt the bathroom let it down. Nowhere to pop your toiletries. Rae was wonderful at bringing us coffee which was missing and looked after us well.
