Positive: The rooms are spacious and the beds are quite comfortable. There are lovely views over the lake, although greenhouses are visible on the opposite side. The restaurant staff were extremely kind.

Negative: The hotel was quite busy during our stay, and the restaurant played music until late (it was turned off after we raised the issue). Unfortunately, a group of very impolite guests continued talking loudly and listening to music on their terrace until 3am, next to our room. After asking them to keep the noise down, they moved inside and carried on talking until 5am, which made it very difficult for us to sleep.

Summary: Good stay overall, but not ideal if you’re looking to fully disconnect

Negative: If you're over 60 or difficulty walking there are steps down and steep slope to restaurant and bar and the river. Also you have to drive 5 miles off road to find the facility

Positive: We really loved the rooms, food and thee staff was very helpful.

Negative: The only inconvenience which wasn’t a big problem was that they only have one massage therapist and we all wanted to do a massage and sauna together, but it didn’t impact our stay at all.
