Positive: The hotel was in an ideal location and we used that as the pivot point for our days out. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful - no negative experiences. The pool was a perfect addition and we spent the morning with a sunbathe and a swim. Food was delicious - we ate in the Everdene restaurant and everything was cooked to perfection; to top it off, the scenery of NY skyline was beautiful. I would definitely go back!
Negative: The only thing which was a shame was that children were not able to use the pool after 11.30am. It would have been nice to come back from a day out and use the pool, especially as it was so hot. However, from an adult point of view, I would like to go back without the kids and enjoy the pool without children, so I do get it. Maybe allowing them to use the pool until 4/5 would be better and then leave to the adults for rest of the evening?

Negative: Handles falling off the doors Blinds not working Upgraded our room but then didn’t give us beds for two kids just one so one of our children slept on the sofa for 600$ per night!!! Breakfast was limited, omelette cold and long wait

Positive: The location was nice, and the breakfast choices were good and tasty and the stuff were helpful
Negative: However, the room was not clean, especially the bed sheets, and the pillows were uncomfortable. Additionally, the cleaning lady mistakenly took my personal hair towel, and they could not find it.

Negative: Quite basic but clean and functional. Definitely not a 5* hotel. Staff at breakfast were pretty clueless- had to remind them for obvious things, like cutlery after they’d just brought food or a pen after they just brought the bill

Positive: Best stay in NY!! I would arrive ate 8am so I asked if I could have the room earlier. Not only the room was ready but all my shopping boxes were already organized in the room. This NEVER happens in NY! The staff is so nice, always trying to help. The art deco decor is amazing: the rooms, the restaurantes... and the gym with a view! The location is perfect. I had the view of the Empire State from my bed, I saw all the changing light colors (which I had never seen before) That is the place to stay.
Summary: JUST PERFECT.
