Negative: Status of the facilities is not acceptable for the price point. The forniture, especially in the kitchen is well beyond replacement point Black mold in multiple places. The smaller bathroom lacks return valves and therefore stinks. A lot. Finally, there is not a dishwasher in the apartment. I was asked by email to wash the dishes before lewving. So I assumed I have eaten using dishes washed by some random people that stayed in the apartment before me. I stop here. But you got the idea.

Positive: Beautiful location, very peaceful. Lovely, usable outdoor space. There is aircon and the beds are comfortable. Helpful host, though never met them. Despite minor inconveniences, would visit again!
Negative: The price for tranquility is that it is at least half an hour's walk to any amenities or beach, so a car is essential. Facilities at the house were dated and some not working e.g. microwave. We had to buy plastic (couldn't find glass!) wine glasses as there wasn't enough for a family of 5. The quirky layout of the property means that two of the three bedrooms are accessed from the outside, so people need to coordinate key use!

Positive: I had such a wonderful trip in Sardinia. Villa Volpe was the perfect retreat with beautiful views from the large terrace overlooking the mountains and the sea. The villa is set amongst the most amazing granite formations and the elevated position gives it the most incredible views. I stayed in the main double bedroom with en-suite bathroom but there was also another twin bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge of the villa with a kitchen and a bathroom. There was also a twin room on the ground level. The villa was very clean and tidy, I spent most of my time relaxing on the big terrace with a few glasses of wine with some friends coming from Porto Cervo (we also had a great barbecue together!). It was a quick car ride to the Porto taverna beach which is a stunning sandy beach with crystal clear water. Thank you to the DomusAway team who were so helpful during my stay. I'll be definitely back in September for a longer trip with my family!
Negative: Everything was perfect.

Positive: The view and the location is amazing. The house looks very nice and there’s a lot outdoor space.
Negative: All the bedrooms are only accessible from the outside. With three little children this is far from ideal. Wouldn’t recommend the villa for that reason to families with children. Also the kitchen is kinda out dated and does not have a lot crockery and other tools. Also there should be a coffee machine which I could not find unfortunately.
