Positive: We loved the room, it was cool and clean and comfortable. We also loved the location, right in the middle of a tiny village. If you want nightlife, it's not the place for you. But if you want to pop to little local shops and stroll along the river, it's perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Negative: It was sometimes a bit difficult to order food and drinks if they main English speaker wasn't around. It would be helpful if there was a comprehensive menu for food and drink in both Khmer and English, so guests could just point to what they want.

Positive: A beautiful oasis, with a wonderful host - she was happy to help arrange anything needed. We ate breakfast and dinner here which were absolutely delicious. We had flu when we stayed but this place was ideal as plenty of space to rest. The bed is the softest we have experienced during our 5 months in Asia! Rooms are beautiful teak wood and well equipped. Highly recommend!

Positive: The room was lovely. Very comfortable.

Negative: Far from everything. A motorbike is needed and they rent some for 15$ a day, which is expensive (you can rent one for 10$ in town).

Positive: This is an awesome place for couples and solo travellers. There are only two rooms available so you are free from any big noisy groups. Not too far from Kampong Thom but far enough to sleep only with frogs and birds voices around. Rooms are stylish, cosy and clean, both on the first floor, overlooking well-kept garden with mill-wheel and mini waterfall. Fridge/mini bar, kettle and small money safe in the room. Owners and staff are super friendly and helpful, ready to serve good coffee, meals or just chat. They can book a tuk tuk for you for the ride to Sambor Prei Kuk, Santuk mountain or Sampov Trailok Treileak (pagoda in the boat shape). The best hotel/guest house I have slept in Cambodia so far.

Positive: Mr and Mrs V are exceptionally nice and kind. They even gave us a lift to the bus station on our way back. The room has everything you need and is very clean. The garden is also beautiful with many fruit plants that Mrs V will be happy to show you. We also had the Asian breakfast with fried rice, which was very good and Mrs V was happy to male a vegetarian version for one of us.

Negative: Everything is great, the location is not central but it’s easy to arrange for tuktuks to go around

Positive: So clean, fresh and tasteful. And nothing was too much trouble. You’re invited to feel at home, but given space and privacy. The garden is a delightful bonus and once the pool is finished….wow!

Negative: Not much! If I really had to find something, perhaps some cushioning on the wooden bench and chairs outside our rooms? But there are bean bags to sit comfortably in anyway. And mosquitoes (outside!) come with the climate and environment!

Summary: It was a very tasteful oasis with a charming, graceful family
