Positive: it over delivered on every level. while expensive- there are other resorts that charge more and give you less . little things like easy access to ice and free chilled water- and the gym was fantastic.
Negative: it feels like a small thing but they clear the breakfast dishes too quickly, sometimes when you’re still eating!
Summary: well above expectations. beach was superb. if you’re gonna treat yourself, do it here

Negative: Only one family pool that is rather small. To access the family pool or beach you need to walk a long stretch or get a golf cart ride.

Positive: It’s in the middle of a beautiful forest and right next to the beach which is white sand. The hotel design is marvelous, the rooms are spacious ; the beach bar and cocktails are great. Enough space for everyone, so it doesn’t feel crowded. The beds and pillows are conformance and very soft. The breakfast had a huge variety for everyone
Negative: The dinners are hits and miss type of thing. I would expect gourmet cuisine, but was not impressed. I liked the seas bass at Coucine de Mercado. I would definitely skip the Mexican cuisine night. The personnel doesn’t seem to be maturely friendly ( as opposed to all other places we’ve been so far in Costa Rica ), but it is more liked learned phrases and imposed on them. The prices for the meals are very expensive for that quality
