Positive: Lodge was clean and the icecube maker was a great bonus
Negative: There was no garden area for dogs while in the hot tub or sitting out enclosed patio is only big enough for hot tub and small table and 2 chairs and on gravel so awkward for small dogs to walk on. We also had a power cut due to storm one evening so when returning back to cottage after a day out we couldnt make anything to eat make a cup of coffee or go in the hottub, this was restored after 2 hours but the next morning the power went off again so couldnt get showered or have breakfast or even a cup of coffee.I know this isnt the owners fault but spoilt 2 days of our 7 night stay .we actually packed up and went somewhere else.we were there celebrating my 50th birthday so this was totally spoilt.
Summary: Disapointing

Positive: Firstly I'd like to start by saying WOW.... I booked this a break away for myself & fiance (+ Our Puppy Daisy) I booked here because it had everything we needed for a break away from reality. Peace, quiet, privacy & Hot Tub plus a little garden for Daisy. Location was perfect for using as a base to go visit all the places I went as child with Grandparents. Facilities within the property where excellent. Hot Tub amazing feeling at night when it was freezing cold on the hills. My only criticism was the bed, it just wasn't as comfortable as we'd hoped. But this in no way put a damping mood on our break. We've already agreed to go back & hopefully for slightly longer next time as 3 nights just wasn't enough. Thank you to the owners for the lovely property they've built & the welcome surprise. Daisy says thank you as well.
Summary: Absolutely Fantastic

Positive: The location was lovely and very quiet. The cottage was so lovely and clean the hot tub and lovely treats were a definite bonus.
Negative: Only thing I can think of is probably some thicker cushions on the sofa. But I can't think of anything that I didn't like, I wish I could live there.
Summary: Absolutely lovely, relaxing and very comfortable. The host was very nice and friendly
