Positive: Wow, what an exceptional, lovely home this is. We stayed at very nice homes throughout our 2-week stay in New Zealand, and this, by far, was our favorite. Claire's place is a true home, full of meaningful art, and she is a gifted gardener, as well - it's gorgeous inside and out! Next time we visit New Zealand, we'll stay much longer at Claire's, and plan day trips from there!

Positive: The house is spacious, and the furnishings as well as the decorations are high-quality and tasteful. The kitchen is perfectly equipped; the fresh milk, a few eggs, and a bouquet of garden flowers were a lovely welcome gesture. You have a stunning panoramic view from both the interior and the terrace. All rooms are in immaculate condition and very well-maintained. Numerous birds can be observed in the garden and the immediate surroundings; they provide a wonderful concert every morning and evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this guesthouse

Positive: This is very quiet and comfortable place, and we absolutely loved staying here. From the moment we arrived, it brought pleasant surprises to every one of us. The property has a huge open field and garden, with flowers blooming all around the house, and the host even keeps a few lovely sheep, which was such a delight to see. The host has put a lot of care and thought into every space in the house. We were especially touched by a small heart- shaped blackboard with red edges that said: Welcome, which made us feel truly warm and welcomed. The host also prepared delicious fresh sheep’s milk for us. The house is very clean, tidy, bright, and comfortable, with a super spacious living room and kitchen. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Staying here really felt just like being at home. We loved this place so much, and we would definitely choose to stay here again the next time we visit.

The gardens are stunning and we enjoyed the birds visiting the garden, the sheep grazing in the paddock and the views. Such a relaxing and welcoming property - we wish we could have stayed longer.
