Positive: Our stay at WakaGangga was exactly what we were looking for — a peaceful retreat far away from the hustle and bustle of Canggu, Kuta, and Seminyak. Nestled amongst beautiful rice fields and overlooking a long stretch of black sparkling sand beach, the setting felt incredibly untouched and serene. Most days we barely saw another person on the beach, making it feel like our own private slice of Bali. The resort itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed to help you completely unwind. Our villa was magnificent — generous in size, thoughtfully equipped, and wonderfully private. The large bathroom, private pool, lush garden, and charming cabana created a little sanctuary where we could relax in complete comfort. The staff were consistently attentive, warm, and friendly, always greeting us with genuine smiles and making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The spa was beautifully presented and offered a range of massage and wellness treatments, adding another layer of relaxation to the experience. We left feeling rested and rejuvenated!! Note, you cant use the App Gojek to get a taxi, however you can use the taxi drivers from around the Yeh Gangga area the hotel will provide the number.

Negative: One suggestion for improvement would be to refresh and elevate the menu offerings. I found the breakfast and international dishes lacking in flavour and creativity. The local Balinese dishes showed a good understanding of the cuisine, but they didn't quite live up to the standard I was expecting. With a little more attention to the food, the overall guest experience could be taken to an even higher level.
