Welcome to Casa Marcelo! This beautiful, spacious, and comfortable vacation rental house is in the secured, gated community of Costa del Sol. Walk to the secluded tropical beauty of rich vegetation and palm trees that adorn the pristine volcanic black sand of Playa Bejuco beach.
Casa Marcelo is located in the Central Pacific region less than two hours from San Jose’s international airport. It’s also just 30 minutes away from the popular tourist town of Jaco to the north and 30 minutes from the famous Manuel Antonio National Park to the south.
This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house is ideal for families, couples, and small groups. The home features an open floor plan with a large kitchen, living and dining area for entertaining friends and family. The back of the home opens up to a large covered patio area and private pool. This newly built home is modern Mediterranean style, with amenities such as individually controlled air conditioning in every room, wireless high speed internet, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, and washer and dryer.
The well equipped kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances, custom-built cabinetry, cookware, dishes, utensils and a kitchen island with bar stools. It’s a perfect place to enjoy your meals. You may also enjoy a family dinner in the dining room with seating for six. The living room has comfortable seating, a 46-inch high-definition TV, cable television, and high-speed Internet access.
Enjoy lounging on the large covered patio while being cooled by ceiling fans. Relax while being surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, fruit trees and your own private pool. Summary: Dan’s place has everything you need for your stay in Bejuco. Location is perfect, close to the beach, close to shops for the basics. Dan is an amazing host - always quick to respond, and resolved any issues we had. House is spacious, and the pool was just what we needed after a day out exploring. Thanks again Dan for being a great host, we truly enjoyed our stay here.

Summary: We stayed at this property for 1 week over Christmas. What an amazing place. The house is large, clean and bright with a beautiful pool in the backyard and a large set of pools within the gated community complex. A five minute walk to a magnificent beach and within an hour drive of many local attractions such a Manuel Antonio Park, Rainmaker, Dominical and many more. I highly recommend this property. A great place for family with children (young and teenagers).

Summary: The home itself was lovely. We arrived and it was the next day when we got WI-FI. The home is very sparse. Very little furniture and furnishings as well as a very sparse kitchen- pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Also no paper products- paper towels foil The neighborhood was nice with adequate security. Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in Playa Bejuco! It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. The pool was fantastic for all times of day. The house was so roomy for our family of 5 and the garage was perfect for the SUV we rented. The outside table was where we are many meals & plays lots of cards! The ocean was so close / we chose to drive & it only took about 2 minutes. We went to the Sunset restaurant a few times & enjoyed a meal there. You have a perfect place for a vacation Danny!

Summary: This wonderful home, in a very nice gated community, on Playa Bejuco was perfect for our family. I highly recommend renting a car so that you can access all the area has to offer. There is a sweet strip mall on the main street that has a grocery store and great restaurants. We did shop in Parrita for most of our groceries because they had a larger selection of food. In the afternoon and evening the beach was a wonderful place to play in the surf, watch the sunset, and listen to the birds. Visiting Jaco, Quepos and Uvita were simple and easy ventures out from this neighborhood. So grateful for our 2 weeks in Costa Rica.

Summary: This property was beautiful. The host was very responsive with communication and when we had water pressure issues. Lovely pool and they replaced the hammock quickly as it was dry-rotted. A/C was efficient and the location was spot on.

Summary: We have been coming to Costa del Sol multiple times a year since 2010. No place better in Costa Rica for a nice relaxing beach vacation. I highly recommend Casa Marcelo. The house is well appointed and equipped. The private pool is also a big plus. The owner and manager a very quick to respond and insure a great stay. We will be back.

Summary: Costa del Sol is beautiful, secure and close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and a little longer drive to Jaco, a mangrove tour and Manual Antonio national park. Feb. weather was unbelievable 80’s, sunny every day, Dan Parkins was a wonderful owner to deal with!!

Summary: The community kept the grounds in a wonderful condition, short walk to a beautiful beach. Property lacked having face cloths and cooking pots could be replaced as some are in poor condition. Overall Dan was understanding and helpful, had a few problems with hot water inlets scaled up and sink drain plugging but plumber got everything in order. We really enjoyed our stay, Dan did mention that a paint job is scheduled which is due as it’s marked up some.
