The home was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The decor was fresh and just the right amount of "beachy/artsy". Our visit was too short to use the firepit and grill space, but it was a fabulous addition to the home with a private fenced backyard. The little screened porch was a favorite spot for coffee and reading/studying. The owners truly thought of everything for a comfortable stay. The distance to the beach was a short drive. We visited both East Beach and Gould's Inlet. Both were very crowded over Memorial Day weekend....not sure if this is the norm for all summer? It was a short walk through the neighborhood to Redfern Village for doughnuts, coffee, and yogurt. We enjoyed our stay and short venture around the island and hope to return to SSI again!

The location of the house was so close to everything whether we were doing some shopping, going to the beach, or getting dinner. The outdoor area was perfect for charcuterie and chatting by the fire. We had the best 5 days!

Summary: The only hiccup in my check in process was I did not receive a code before arriving to the house. I spoke with an after hours call center and they remotely unlocked the door for me. She informed me that someone would call me within the hour with my code. I did not receive that call. I attempted to call the after hours center again with no response. I began to text the after hours. Shortly after I received a call from Kathleen. She had some issues with her phone. She was super accommodating and helpful with me getting a code. Soon after that I received a text from Bryan, the manager. He was great and helpful with assisting me also. For the inconvenience, he delivered a gift card to the residence. I was on St Simmons for a law enforcement conference. My last class was on Wednesday from 8:30 until 10:30. I knew checkout was at 10:00 and I knew I would not make it back in time for check out, I spoke with Kathleen about the issue and she accommodated me with an extra hour. Everything with the house and management was great....will definitely rebook with them.

Summary: The cottage was spotless!It had tasteful ocean furnishing, plenty of everything and large airy property. The beds were soooo comfy too. Cannot find any fault at all. Definitely a place if you want a stress free vacay!

Summary: Was a good place to stay but the hard wood floors need to be washed. When we were walking around the house the bottom of our feet and socks got dirty. Other than that the house was very clean and well maintained.
