Summary: Our short stay (3 days) was good. The chalet was nice, in a quiet environment with a lot of privacy. Everything was available in the chalet. The only issue we had was with the stairs to the sleeping place. Because of the tiny house, the sleeping place was accessible via small stairs, without railing. This felt dangerous (specially for elder people and people with fear of heights) . Luckily, there was the possibility to sleep on the couch downstairs. Overall a good and positive experience, and location on half hour walk from the famous coast of Étretat.

Summary: Property was suitable for the two of us. We managed to sleep in the loft, which was surprisingly comfortable. Property was well equipped although soap and an extra towel would have been good. Le Tilleul is a small quiet village but does have a boulangerie, shop and restaurant, which wasn’t open when we were there. The Sea and Cliffs were a good half hour walk away. Sylvia was very helpful.

Summary: Short drive to Etretat and 2 HR drive to Normandy. Beautiful little cottage and was perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Summary: Quiet, cute and exactly what we needed for a little break. Well equipped chalet in a lovely private space, but next to the owners in case you need anything. Sylvie is a great host, friendly and obviously pleased to provide what we needed. I would highy recommend staying here. Would easily sleep 2 adults and 2 kids if needed- but 2 adults also easy as I hade the mezzanine (with super comfy bed) and my friend slept in the double sofa bed. Thanks Sylvie- I hope to come again!

Summary: We had a fantastic few days in Le Tilleul. Sylvie and Serge were very welcoming and helpful when needed. I would recommend spending a day in Honfleur, it is a beautiful port and has plenty to keep you occupied.

Summary: Such a relaxing week at Sylvie and Serge’s cabin. Full disclosure - all I wanted to do was walk for miles and miles every morning then spend the afternoons reading, drinking and generally relaxing and that’s exactly what I did. Beautiful part of the world, great for long walks and forgetting about everyday life, can’t beat northern France for that. The cabin itself is fantastically specced - everything you could ever need to enjoy your stay. All mod cons, fridge, dishwasher, hob, kettle, tv, WiFi, it’s like being at home. Plenty of room to kick around and plenty of places to make yourself comfy. The main sleeping area is up a wooden ladder, however I’m over 6’5” and 16 stone and I managed just fine so I’m sure most will be ok. Overall I had a wonderful break recharging my batteries in a beautiful part of the world, the cabin is beautiful and just what I was looking for, Sylvie and Serge are fantastic hosts and I would not hesitate recommending you spend a day or three in this quaint corner of Normandy. C’est parfait!
