Summary: Great location and nice little apartment. Great breakfast across the street. Great offstreet parking in the back and fun pub next-door. Beds Were comfortable. Water in shower a little quirky as is in most older St. Louis apartments.

Summary: They good is that the location and prcie really cant be beat for someone looking to stay close to Washu and Clayton. only a few short minutes to the campus. The beds were also very comfortable. Also, I woudl say that the management company "The Stay" is pretty good" as long as you understand that you HAVE to send the a photo of your DL before you can gain access to the unit. They have one of the best check outs of any rental I have stayed with. Just run the dishwasher, and send a photo of the tv remote (dont get that part, but whatever) The bad. The bad is that the Kuerig was broken, the curtains fell off the wall when we tried to adjust them and it takes 10-15 minutes to get the hot water to appear in the shower (which could use some fresh caulk) The UGLY. We got locked out. Well first it took an hour and a half to get in becuase I had not sent my DL to the management company so I had not code. But after that, I got locked out. There was some sort of tape on teh door latch that kept the handle from engaing. Essentially you just unlocked the deadbolt and went in. But...we didnt know about that tape and it came undone engaging the handle latch would couldnt be turned because the mechanism was locked. I did call the management comapny and they tried to send someone to help, but I managed to force my way in and address teh issue by switching the mechanism to allow the handle to turn. Took me an hour and I still dont know why the tape was there in the 1st place.

Summary: Overall we had a good stay, but the building has some quirks which could have been better. The main front door lock was non functional much of the time and we ended up using the side door entrance. The neighborhood is nice, and there’s a first rate cafe across the quiet street which makes it all worthwhile. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment is near Wash U so it’s not really quiet until about midnight most nights. The shower is warm and has decent flow.

Summary: Very nice apartment in a great location. Walk all over Clayton or to Wash U. Everything was just like the pictures and the host was very responsive. We initially didn't have hot water - or maybe we just didn't run it long enough - but they got maintenance out right away and solved the problem! It does take a long time for the hot water to reach the apartment, recommend using the tub because it has a higher volume flow.

Summary: Great spot in an older building. Love the cafe catty corner to the building. There is a bar next door and if you are a light sleeper, this is not the spot for you. Patrons leaving late at night and the closing dumping of glass bottles in the dumpster are quite loud. Outside sound comes in. Otherwise very quiet. Oh and the mockingbird. I’m used to city life so sound was not an issue. I loved the washer dryer and that laundry pods were provided. The place is kept clean. Sleeps two very comfortably and the decor is lovely. This is an older building with stucco walls, odd corners, rough surfaces and older shower tub, that is clean but patched up discoloration. Some of the walls have patch ups as well. If you are a minimalist, not the place for you. The furnishing color scheme is lovely. We didn’t expect to do more than shower, sleep and head out. But the space is large enough and comfortable enough to sit and relax and maybe have a handful of people over. AC works great. Ceiling fans so refreshing. Loved the pillows. The bed with padded headboard’s mattress on the right side is starting to give. Center and rest of bed plenty comfy and I slept great. The place was so much better than what I expected for the price. This is my spot from now on when I come to St Louis to visit family. I like a walking city. The cafe on the block, Wash U, Forest Park and the Art Museum were all a good walk. Did a 6 mile loop and it was so pleasant. Good dining also within 1 mile walk.
