Rare find on Walloon Lake sits on a secluded lot with lots of trees. Conveniently located near Boyne City, Petoskey and Walloon Village, with proximity to several area activities. This property has been updated within the last two years.
There are four beautiful bedrooms: the master suite and ensuite located on the first level. The three additional bedrooms upstairs with an additional full bath. The kitchen is large, perfect for big families or groups equipped with high-end appliances. There is a large dining room with seating for 6+.
This property is located on 100+ feet of lakefront with total privacy on the desirable West arm with caribbean blue water. Sandy beach and gorgeous lake views are a few of the amazing amenities. The property has two docks, one used for swimming with steps down to the shallow hard-sandy bottom for swimming . There is also a covered boat hoist for use. Also included is a dock for two jet skis.
This beautiful cottage can sleep 8+. 1st floor master bedroom with king and ensuite Second bedroom with queen bed, third bedroom with a queen, and 4th bedroom with two full and an ensuite.

Lower level walk out just redone 2020 with half bath. The lower level has a 60 inch TV with new xbox, dart board and sectional couch, heated floors for fall and winter. Great place for the kids to hang out.
New 2023 Tritoon Pontoon boat seats 10 people available for $2000 per week (much less than local marianas charge)
Close to Both Boyne Mountain 15min Boyne Highlands 20 min and Nubs Nob. Bay Harbor at the end of the street.
Available for 3-7 night stays except for July and August. No pets and no smoking.

Summary: This was a great property. The rooms were nice, kitchen well stocked, grounds maintained nicely. The water was clear and the beach was great for kids. Wonderful hot tub. We rented the pontoon boat, which was also very nice. We were very pleased with this property.

Summary: Truly wonderful location on Walloon. Owner was very responsive to some finicky fridge issues and was also understanding after we hit a sandbar with their brand new boat. Would rent again if they let us - was fantastic place for young kids, the parents, and grandparents.

Summary: Wonderful location on west arm. We've stayed in 4 different locations on Walloon, and this was the best--great sandy bottom, clean without sticks or seaweed for swimming. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the paddle boards, kayaks, hot tub, and the boat rental from owners (Tritoon) was a great deal, so much cheaper than renting from Tommy's or Bear Cove Marina. Owner very responsive and helpful.

Summary: Short on time, but wanted to review this awesome property with great hosts, who respond in minutes. House is perfect for a large group with all the water toys. The boat is new (2020) and is awesome - we had 10 onboard at one point and there was plenty of room. Only downsize/concern was there was absolutely no instructions for the boat and/or map of the area. . . however, it provided to be very self explanatory and not complicated (unless there is wind when trying to dock - LOL). House is complete with everything you need in the kitchen including a nice gas grill right of the kitchen. Beds and linens were comfortable and bedrooms had plenty of storage. Remember to bring your shampoo, conditioner, soap and hair dryer. There was laundry detergent and soap at all the sinks. Overall, just great. . . would definitely be back, however, looks like they are booked all of next year:-}

Summary: Our family of a range of ages enjoyed this property for a week in June. The inside of the house was clean, comfortable, and stocked with just about everything we needed. The bedrooms are bigger than they look in the photos, and each room has a great view of the lake. You feel like you're on vacation. The lake itself is clear and beautiful. At the end of June the water was still pretty cool but the kids had no problem getting in. We spent a lot of time on the dock, which is also bigger than it looks in the photos, and loved the kayaks, paddle boards, and pontoon boat. The house is situated in a nice location on the lake, and in close proximity to Petoskey, Boyne City (we built in ziplining trip at Boyne Mountain), and other nice towns. Our group also planned a day-trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes, which is about an hour and a half away. We did opt to not use the basement bathroom and the wood lounge chairs due to their condition and had some morning/day noise issues due to construction next door. Otherwise we really enjoyed our trip, and I note that the owner/manager was responsive and reasonable. Thank you!

Summary: Amazing property on an unbelievable lake. First time visiting Walloon and we couldn’t ask for a batter jumping off point. Rental included everything we needed to relax for a week and enjoy the outdoors while also feeling like we we’re staying at home.

Summary: We had bad weather through the whole stay and we still LOVED it!!! So imagine if you have sunny days! We had one good weather day and took full advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards and the boat (that she rents out separately). The house is beautiful even nicer than in the photos. My partner’s family grew up coming to Walloon so I was nervous picking out our stay as I have never been... but they not only approved of it but they asked me to contact the owner to rent it next year! No complaints whatsoever. Just wonderful !

Summary: This house is wonderful! It is located a short drive from Bay Harbor, Petoskey and Charlevoix. The house has plenty of room for two families to share with one room having two double beds w/an attached bath upstairs as well as two other bedrooms that share a bath on the second floor. There is also a master suite on the first floor. There is also a fun basement with video and board games for the kids and a bar table with a view of the lake. The deck has a great firepit and we hung out there every night and watched the stars. The outdoor amenities and the views cannot be beat. Two paddleboards, two kayaks and countless watersport gear to enjoy if you rent the boat. There is a couch, a tube a wakeboard, a kneeboard and waterskis! We loved it and are thinking of going back next year.

Summary: This is a great house for a two family vacation. The house was exceptionally clean and had new bathrooms, new carpet/flooring, and a lovely deck and dock. The views were spectacular from every room in the house. We have stayed in several lake homes over the years and this one was one of the best!
