We invite you to stay at Wandin Park Estate. Located in the heart of the Yarra Valley on 320 acres of undulating pastures with pockets of native bushland. Our historic 'Homestead' built in 1869, has been fully transformed to provide you with all the luxuries of modern living while maintaining its traditional elegance of Victorian charm.
Located only 50 minutes’ drive from Melbourne CBD, the fully self-contained four bedroom, luxury homestead is fully equipped for any occasion.
Imagine simply breathing in the fresh country air, watching the mob of resident kangaroos as they graze nearby, horse riding, balloon riding over the Yarra valley, hiking or biking up the Lilydale - Warburton Trail. Or indulging in the local produce, dining at the superb restaurants and savouring the world renowned wines offered at the many local cellar doors.
Wandin Park Estate is the ideal country escape offering seclusion, tranquility and relaxation.
The Homestead rests upon the centre ridge of the property and is enriched with family history. It has a large fully appointed country kitchen for gourmet cooking, with a 12 seater hand crafted table for enjoying any meal. This area is large enough for a comfortable seating area with fireplace and TV. A spacious outdoor decking area with a barbecue and kitchen facilities for casual dining. Leading onto a fire-pit with seating.
The master bedroom features a king sized bed with en suite. Three further bedrooms - all with king sized beds and individual features. There is a luxurious fully modernised large share bathroom with spacious bath tub and a separate elaborate powder room. A large lounge as a second living area featuring a gas log fire and mirrored 55" Television. The Homestead is surrounded by a large front verandah allowing you to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine looking out over the vibrant colours of the Yarra Valley.

Summary: I was informed on booking there would be a large horse event on the wider property - this actually added to our stay! Coffee cart just outside the gate! On walking in I was greeted with a bottle of champagne and fresh strawberries - I relaxed instantly and felt excited for my wedding day! The house is BEAUTIFUL! I felt so lucky to have booked such a beautiful house in which to get ready for the big day! So many lovely small touches throughout the house! Angela, John and William all popped in and are just a lovely family! We especially appreciated John’s advice for a happy marriage! I hope we can return in the future to enjoy the beautiful home again! HIGHLY recommend!

Summary: It was our wedding and we wanted to stay in a house together the night before as a whole bridal party, but in a house big enough to separate during he day while we got ready. This house is STUNNING and allowed for that. It also allowed for us to stay on our wedding night together in a private domain of the home, away from other guests as the master is very well separated. The hosts were so lovely and went above and beyond, with bubbles, chocolates, strawberries - what a treat. The house was so beautiful, and perfect for a luxury stay and a beautiful setting for photos. We enjoyed a port by the fireplace and felt like it was heaven Highly recommend this stay

Summary: The Wandin Park Estate has been beautifully restored, is well appointed with all of the luxuries of a modern home and it made for a very nice long weekend away. We would go back anytime, it was highly enjoyable and a stunning property.

Summary: We stayed at Wandin Park Estate for 3 nights from Friday 20th September 2018 for our daughter's wedding. The homestead is absolutely stunning and such an amazing setting for our daughter and her bridal party to get ready. It was absolutely magical and perfect thanks to our hosts John, Angela, William and Felicity who were so accommodating and did everything they possibly could to make our stay memorable. All the little extra touches did not go unnoticed. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The day after the wedding we hosted a recovery brunch for our guests and I hired out the Shearer's shed. We had an absolute ball and all our guests commented on the beautiful views. My daughter and her new husband stayed at Ruby's which was lovely and they felt very spoilt. It was very handy as they joined us for the brunch the next day. I am looking forward to another stay at Wandin in the very near future.
