3 Bedroom Place in Johnson City

This is just a great place to take advantage of the races and the river.
We enjoyed restoring the farm and house to make a scenic countryside vacation spot. We stripped down the house and were able to save the old pine floors and ceilings as well as some nostalgia some ancient metal shingles. We made some unique furniture out of barn wood and used luthier grade curly maple to make the kitchen cabinets.The plumbing is indoor and modern and the beds and linens are new.
The main level upstairs has 2 bedrooms-- a queen and a daybed with 2 twins, as well as a bath with an extra sink outside. The living room has a sleeper sofa and the small kitchen is on this level.
Downstairs has a King bedroom and a bunkroom along with a family area, laundry and bathroom. There are decks and access to take in the river and this is a great place to finish your float trip. You can pull out your boat or have your guide drop you off right where you are staying since this is the end of the river.
Our farm is where Watauga river becomes Boone lake and is on the edge of Johnson City so you are just minutes from the mall, cinemas and restaurants. It is a quick jump onto the Bristol Highway and you are 12 miles and less than 20 minutes from the race track.

Summary: Love staying here. Granddaughters love seeing the cows, horse, donkeys and peacock. House is well stocked and very clean. Plenty of room for the entire family.Hosts are wonderful and very helpful.

Summary: The house was comfortable and everything worked properly. The location was perfect. Located adjacent to where the Watauga runs into Boone Lake, you could walk or drive a few hundred yards to fast moving river that was loaded with hard fighting brown trout. The house is situated on a farm with ideal views of cattle, horses, or the river. The location is peaceful, quiet, and safe. I slept like a rock, and always felt comfortable. Great place to enjoy the Watauga River.

Summary: Best property we haved stayed at in years for a family get away. Had a Polish Easter with all the Easter foods that we were able to make at the house. Everyone from our five year old grandchild to the old Grandpa and Grandma loved the place.

Summary: Perfect location and home for a family. Two bedrooms and sitting area on bottom floor were like a separate suite from upstairs. Surrounded by working farm meant that the kids loved seeing the horse, donkeys, and cows. River location is lovely. Room for 4 at kitchen table was a bit limiting for a large family, but kitchen was extremely well stocked. Lovely host was so responsive.
