Summary: Hotel has 2 part, old worn out late 80s early 90s part and newer part, we were put in the 80s part (which you dont know about until you get there), spartan at best, may have been ok for a hayseed town out on the prairie but this is Minnesota's Birthplace City. Front desk was good.

Summary: They tried to charge me more money at checkin saying hotels.com didnt give them enough money when I booked. In all my years of using this service I have never encountered this. For the price we paid I was underwhelmed. The shower head was the worst.

Summary: Location was excellent and easy walking to local shops, bars, and restaurants. We attended the snow sculptures right outside the doors.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the Water Street Inn. A fantastic location. The Irish restaurant was very good for breakfast. We didn't have any sheets or extra blankets to use in our suite, so we had to ask for them to bring them to the room. Also, not all the windows had shades on them. We had three people in our suite, but they only had enough towels for two people. Overall the room was quiet except for a drunk yelling during the middle of the night.

Summary: It was good stay, besides did have a very hot room, the air didn’t work and couldn’t open the windows, and was hoping we could of had a choice of breakfast, didn’t want a Easter expensive breakfast buffet

Summary: “Historic” doesn’t equate to old, outdated and ugly. Paper thin noisy walls and very loud traffic noise. Nice location, but very overpriced.

Summary: Please consider another property when visiting the Stillwater area. The bed was horrible. It was so wore out and had no support whatsoever. Don’t look too close at the carpeting. It’s so dirty. They must not have a crevice/edge tool for their vacuum. The edges and corners were so dust filled and dirty. The shower had minimal pressure and the handle to turn the water on/off was rusty and full of mold. The edge of shower door and corners of shower also had mold on them. The bathroom does not have a vanity, making it difficult to get ready. Also the room didn’t have a desk, just a very small 6” x 6” table. The mantle above the fireplace was about to fall off. At the bar, Charlie’s, we had a hard time getting service. The first attempt we sat at the bar and no one was around to take our order. An hour or so later we did manage to get one drink. The bartender was more concerned with a group of buddies who were also there. The location was great. The towels were soft. We do not recommend.
