Positive: Nice location. Spacious house with amazing views. Clean bedrooms and showers.
Negative: Kitchen wasn't very clean.. We had to wash some items in the kitchen before use. Lack of a dishwasher could be an explanation. Central heating has to be activated manually every hour.

Negative: No hand towels in the upstairs bedrooms BUT did NOT detract from stay.

Positive: Stunning!!! The photos do not do the house justice, the area is breathtaking with a view to a waterfall across the water, the ocean, and islands in the distance. The house is larger than it seems with 2 levels (2 bedrooms on each level), a sunroom, sitting room, living room, and a kitchen/dining room. The views are gorgeous and the sheep all over the surrounding property add to the charm. There are books, movies, and games to pass the time in the evening after exploring all day. **Make sure to go to the top of the hill (within the property line) behind the house for amazing sunsets. One evening we lucked out with a stunning sunset and when we looked behind us we saw a double rainbow. We spotted whales from the house as well one day. The locals are all so friendly, make sure to stock up at the General Store just outside of town, they have all the basics and it is a charming shop. We also stopped in at the local pottery shop at the start of the road and her work is unique and amazing. We also went to Skye Weavers and got to see the machines up close and buy some treasures to take home. Dunvegan is not far away and a great stop for restaurants, bakery, and visiting the castle (do the seal tour!)
Negative: Nothing, we loved our stay and would go again.

Positive: A lovely home , our family loved staying there, all functioning and comfortable
Negative: It is very far from a large supermarket, when one comes to a remote location things like having oil for cooking or simple instant coffee are important, as these are not readily available in a next door store, and would have been much appreciated , as usually such are available (or a warning none will be there), we loved staying there, just important to know all needs to be brought along in advance I also asked the host to have phone number for text/whatsapp in case of problems upon arrival, as we came in a day with a storm and was not confidant there wont be problems getting into the house. The host said that is not possible, only via booking , which it would be nice if that changed for other travelers in the future

Positive: Gorgeous location with lovely views! The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped for families. We had a family reunion with relatives from the USA and they were charmed with it. We found the location to be quite beautiful and quiet, and a good base for us to explore the island. I highly recommend this cottage!
