Summary: My friend and I couldn’t have found a better place to stay to watch freighters! The cleanliness was very impressive and had all the amenities you would need to feel at home. The store next door had EVERYTHING you could need and was great to grab a drink or snacks before hitting the roads to explore the UP! I look forward to coming back in the next several years.

Summary: Great place to stay, super clean, great view of the water, you can see some amazing freighters gone by, plenty of room, easy, check-in, easy checkout, great kitchen, very friendly general store next to the House, amazing food at the restaurant right behind the house,, 25 minutes from to the soo,20 minutes to Brimley,, just an amazing place to have a great experience for up north, highly recommended, we will be back, thank you for the hospitality that we received during our stay

Summary: My son’s graduation from LSSU was this weekend, so the whole family came from downstate to attend. Plenty of room for the 10 of us and the baby (we rented both floors). We spent much of our time playing cards and board games, and enjoying snacks. Great view of the river. The owners also own the restaurant next door and make excellent pizza.
