This is the quintessential cottage experience nestled into 1.3 acres with lots of room to play and enjoy the scenery. Located on Restoule Lake in the Parry Sound District renowned for its great fishing, ATV, and hiking trails.
This cottage offers the perfect northern experience with modern amenities like internet, TV streaming, Keurig, and microwave. The main cottage has two bedrooms. The main bedroom is finished in white-washed pine and has a queen-sized bed and Armour. The second bedroom is huge with a queen bed, bunk bed, and dresser. Other sleeping arrangements can be found in the remodeled bunkie which offers a queen bed and bunk bed. The main living area with new woodburning fireplace is open to the kitchen and has lots of seating on the leather sofas for movie nights. There is a sunroom-style dining room with a cot for an extra guest if necessary. Walk out either the living or dining room back entrance to a sprawling deck overlooking the Lake and the infinity firepit. BBQ is available for use on the deck. There is a private dock that accommodates up to two boats. The driveway accommodates 6 vehicles. The Lake shed has all the water toys including 2 paddle boards, a canoe, a kayak, and extra lifejackets. For an added bonus, feel refreshed in the outdoor shower.
This cottage has had many recent renovations incuding but not limited to new flooring, drywall, insulation, windows, doors, electric base w/thermostats, and a modern updated bathroom with walk in ceramic tiled shower! The main water is from a drilled well which is tested every year. Everything is meticulously maintained throughout as we want to offer a carefree northern experience. There is a portable stand-up air conditioning unit but rarely has it been necessary as the breeze from the lake in the evening keeps the cottage very comfortable.
We are directly across from Restoule provincial park where you could spend the day exploring or enjoying the beach. Hike the fire tower trail for a lookout over all of Restoule. Access to the ATV and snowmobile trails are just down the road from our cottage. 10 minutes to the Town of Restoule you will find Gerry's famous General Store, the market and Buck's Tavern restaurant. 30 Minutes to Port Loring for some dinner at Jake's place or Roxie's dinner. 30 min to Powassan for groceries and unique shops.

Summary: We had a great week. The cottage is exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. The deck is wonderful. We sat, drinking our coffee, watching the hummingbirds and woodpeckers. The lake is beautiful. We swam and fished every day. Restoule Provincial Park is close and we hiked there on a cool day.

Summary: This property is amazing and exceeded our expectations! We had an amazing time and the property was breathtaking! Every morning we woke up and looked out the windows and still couldn’t believe what we were seeing! The cottage was exactly what we were looking for and very spacious! Adrian communicated very well during booking and emailing with a full brochure as well as all information needed for our stay. He kept in contact with us and made sure that we knew to contact him about any questions we may have. We highly recommend this property as well as Adrian! Thank you so much for such a wonderful time! We will definitely be going back in the future!

Summary: Usually in places that have few rentals like Restoule you have to settle sometimes with a rental. There was definitely no settling with Adrian's cottage. The cottage was absolutely perfect. Booking- booking went smoothly and Adrian was always quick to respond with any questions or requests. Arrival- Adrian sent an information packet before arrival, and once we arrived the cottage was clean and ready! Cottage - it is a perfect size with a perfect mix of technology (wifi, tv) and just unwinding. We were two families (4 adults, 4 kids, and one dog) and there was plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved having their own cabin to call there own. The cabin came with all the amenities you could ever ask for. The cabin had a TV, coffee maker, BBQ, all the kitchen utensils needed, extra large fridge, renovated bathroom and so much more. Outside was the same with a boat shed that had paddle boards, canoe, water mat, and every size life jacket needed. There was a beautiful deck, and large fire pit to sit around and enjoy the amazing sunsets. We had a last minute request upon checking out and Adrian was able to accommodate us even when he didn't have to. The week was amazing full of memories, and the cottage absolutely perfect. Would definitely rent again if returning to Restoule.

Summary: We had an excellent stay in this well maintained and beautifully situated property. The sunset views from the outdoor fire pit were spectacular, and on cooler evenings the indoor wood stove kept things cozy. This cottage is meticulously kept and well provisioned. Thank you very much to our hosts for a much needed peaceful getaway.
