Summary: Diane was wonderful! The listing is very cozy and close to everything. Was disappointed and the one and a half bath listing as the half bath was down some very steep stairs in the basement. The outdoor patio furniture and furniture by the fire pit were dirty and had not been cleaned in a while. Aside from that we had a wonderful visit and would stay there again. Note to Future renters the steps up to the home and from the first floor to the second floor are very steep. This should be considered by people who have difficulty walking, doing steps Etc

Summary: This home fit perfect with our love of older homes with all the creaks and unique touches. It also has a few modern touches such as a new tv, rain style shower head, washer, dryer and dishwasher. It was very centrally located to everywhere we needed to go and in a beautiful area that felt safe and friendly. The owners are close by and and respond quickly to any needs or questions. Due to the steep stairways I would not recommend this home for young children or anyone with mobility issues. Wish we had stayed a few more days to visit the very old local cemeteries. We found an amazing music store, House of Guitars, and spent 5 hours there over two days. Overall we were very happy staying in this home.

Summary: This was our second time staying here during July. The owners, Don and Diane, are wonderful— very friendly, caring, and attuned to their visitors’ needs. Invited over to their place to swim and a boat ride if it’d been cooperative. They left a stuffed animal for our daughter. The place is comfortable for the 5 of us and the sunrises over the Bay are beautiful. Location: about 20 minutes to most anywhere around Rochester as 590, 104, and Lake Shore Blvd. are nearby. Can’t beat that! Only drawback is lack of AC and it was so hot when we were there. Owner says AC should be installed by next summer and then we will be back for another summer vacation or off-season when it’s cooler.

Summary: The property is a Fisherman's dream. The dock is tucked away in a cove, so no matter the wind direction, your boat is secure at the dock. The cove is always calm for those who like to float in a tube. The bay is beautiful, and it is only a 10 minute steam to get out to the main lake. The house is very clean and has everything you need. Once you meet the owners Don and Diane, you will wished you have known them your whole life. Great down to earth people! I look forward to seeing them again. Brian H

Summary: First off, Diane and Don where awesome! When my twin 7 year old daughter's ran upstairs to explore the house and found two brand new Olympic barbie dolls on their beds for each of them, I then knew what awesome people we were renting from. They actually live a few house away and opened up their front yard and dock to fish or swim anytime we wanted. The house is spacious with a nice porch overlooking the cove and is outfitted with everything from beach towels to cooking supplies. We had a blast! The only thing that would make sleeping a little easier, would be air conditioning or more fans. Thank you Diane and Don!

Summary: The property was very clean, the location was wonderful and the hosts were very accommodating. We were the first guests to ever stay at this property and this was the first time I've ever used Vrbo, so we were all on a learning curve! When you first get to the road that the cottage is on, it's hidden and can easily be missed. However once you go down the road, it opens up into a wonderful hidden cove on the bay. Although there isn't a place to swim, there is a beach that is located a relatively short drive away. Be aware that the cottage is above ground level and has stairs for entry. There is a gateway a little ways down the lane that can be used to gain access to the property, if you have any physical limitations with walking, you should be aware of this and make sure you discuss. There wasn't any air conditioning, however being on the lake fortunately helps to keep the temperature a little cooler. It would be a nice add for the hosts to consider for future guests. The place is convenient to stores and a variety of entertainment venues for a family. I would stay here again.

Summary: If we could give a 6 star review we would; this house is amazing. The views are beautiful, the owners are extremely kind, and the location is perfect. The house had everything provided that we needed for our stay, even coffee! We would love to come back and vacation here again.
